As Christians, we want to live blessed lives. We also want to experience the promises and blessings of God. When you’re dealing with any sort of hardship, it’s important thing to remember is that God hasn’t forgotten about you or abandoned you.

The Bible tells us “The LORD Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged” (Deuteronomy 31:8). God has also promised to answer every prayer according to His marvelous grace, His infinite powerful, and in keeping with His infinite love and faithfulness.

Our attitude should be one of implicit confidence that He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us. Too often, we neglect to ask God for miracles in our lives, and end up settling for less than God’s best for us. The truth is, we can always approach God with confidence if we trust in Jesus.

When we delight ourselves in the Lord, we are one step closer to our miracle blessing from God. Here are six prayers to experience God’s blessing.

For a Faith Blessing

When we pray for blessings, it’s important that we understand that we too are miraculous beings. We wouldn’t be here without the power of God’s hand and His miraculous power being at work.

When we believe in this power, all things are possible: Dear Jesus, I ask that You bless me with the faith to always believe, to affirm the Supreme Power of Your miracles, be they of a physical or spiritual nature. Grant me the aptitude to instantly perceive the source of all supernatural occurrences.

So only Your excellence shall be glorified. Jesus, my existence is a wonderful miracle and I praise You for it. Amen.

For Miracle Blessing

Miracle power testifies that God’s presence is always near us and that a blessing is around the corner. It’s important that we are conscious of God at work in our lives daily. Miracle power can happen in your life when you have faith and trust that miracles can really happen.

Are you ready to unleash that miracle power? This prayer will guide you: Heavenly Father, I open my heart wide to receive the love of God. As I receive God’s love as universal supply, all my affairs are healed.

I feel the outpouring of God’s love in my body and mind. I feel God’s love in my affairs, and I know all is well. Amen.

For Transformational Blessing

When something bad happens, don’t just throw out a few brief prayers for God’s help, and then move on in discouragement if the situation doesn’t change for the better soon. Instead, grab hold of God’s promises and fight to seem them unfurled. If you’re ready for miracles to happen in your life, be persistent, praying until God gives you answers.

Don’t give up praying about a situation until God’s power comes into it: Heavenly Father, I feel giving up. Help me to remember the reason I began. Help me to see the purpose behind Your plan. Provide the necessary grace.

Keep me set upon Your face, to find strength for the next step, to discover faith to keep trying and to believe that miracles are possible today and in all circumstances. Amen.

For Healing Blessing

Often, when we pray for blessings and miracles to happen in our lives, we are also praying for healing to happen in our lives as well. We see countless examples of healing happening in Scripture through Jesus’ healing power.

The same is possible in our daily lives: Lord Jesus, heal me. Heal in me whatever You see needs healing. Heal me of whatever might separate me from You. Heal my memory, heal my heart, heal my emotions, heal my spirit, heal my body and heal my soul.

Lay Your hands gently upon me and Heal me through Your love for me. Amen.

For Directional Blessing

Don’t limit your prayers only to simple situations that don’t require much divine intervention to change. Instead, make a habit of praying for big things that only God can do.

Invite God to do something incredibly powerful in each situation that you bring to Him: Lord, I am praying for what only You can do. I am praying for a miracle. I know the source from which it will come. I trust in You to send me a sign.

Teach me dear Lord to know wonder. If You are willing, I am waiting, ready to receive my blessing today. Amen.

For Influential Blessing

You’ll never be able to lose a battle when you fight with God’s strength flowing through you.

So don’t rely on your own limited strength; pray for God to empower you to do battle in every situation and that this strength will enable you to make miracles happen: Dear God, in the name of Jesus, I ask that You come against strongholds, demonic influences and spiritual attacks. I know you have the miraculous power and strength to conquer the darkest enemy, break the strongest barrier, and silence the greatest deceiver. Your name is Worthy, Glorious, Almighty in power and I claim victory today in Your name. Send Your mightiest warriors to fight this battle. Lord, to You the darkness shines as bright as the day. Shine Your light upon us, free us, give us peace, and snatch us back from the enemy’s grip. Amen.

God has the power to not only release miracle power in your life but also to unleash your blessings. We just have to be ready to receive the blessing God is offering.

During these periods, we may feel God isn’t hearing our prayers, but that is far from the case. Don’t worry if you feel your prayers are going unanswered. If we pray in the will of God, we can be sure that God will answer.

As we praise Him for His faithfulness, seek His Will and glory, pray faithfully and wait patiently.

The book of Ephesians is 6 chapters of solid Christian teachings!  From chapter 1 to 6, in that order, you will read about: spiritual blessings in Christ, thanksgiving and prayer, grace through faith, being one in Christ, the mystery of the gospel revealed, prayer for spiritual strength, unity in the body of Christ, new life, walking in love, wives and husbands, children and parents, slaves and masters, and putting on the whole armor of God.  Let us dive into this book and gain some insight on 21 important verses that were indeed written by God through man. (2 Timothy 3:16)  In this article I am going to follow the book from beginning to end starting in chapter 1.  I am using the headings above so you can follow along with me.

Spiritual Blessings In Christ

Ephesians 1:3 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.”

Ephesians 1:7  “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace.”

Ephesians 1:16-14  “In Him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in Him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of His glory.”

Thanksgiving And Prayer

Ephesians 1:16-18 “I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which He has called you, what are the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints.”

Grace Through Faith

Ephesians 3:6 “This mystery is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.”

Ephesians 3:11-12  “This was according to the eternal purpose that he has realized in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in Him.”

Prayer For Spiritual Strength

Ephesians 3:14-16 “For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of His glory He may grant you to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in your inner being.”

Ephesians 3:19 “And to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”

Unity In The Body Of Christ

Ephesians 4:4-6 “There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call—one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.”

Ephesians 4:15 “Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into Him who is the head, into Christ.”

The New Life

Ephesians 4:32  “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”

Walk In Love

Ephesians 5:1-2  “Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.  And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.”

Wives And Husbands

Ephesians 5:33 “However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.”

Children And Parents

Ephesians 6:1 “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.”

Ephesians 6:4 “Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.”

Slaves And Masters

Ephesians 6:5-6 “Slaves, obey your earthly masters with fear and trembling, with a sincere heart, as you would Christ, not by the way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart.”

Think of yourself as a slave.  Paul calls himself a “servant of Christ Jesus” in Romans 1:1.  This word is correctly defined as “slave” also.  Therefore, being a slave to Christ means living out Ephesians 6:5-6 for all believers.

The Whole Armor Of God

Ephesians 6:10-11 “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.  Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.”
