From our experience, most problems that come up in marriage arguments are usually a misunderstanding or communication issue anyways (excluding any form of abuse or infidelity).

Setting these boundaries in the first year of marriage helps in building a strong foundation for your marriage. In addition, setting boundaries in your marriage is equally important to maintaining your individuality and avoiding manipulation.

You have to communicate to each other what you need to feel romanced and loved, your spouse can’t read your mind.

Compliment each other. Continually pursue your spouse. Make time to connect every single day.

We had to find things we d from each other’s meals, tried to mesh them together, and experimented with new recipes until we came up with meals we both enjoyed.

We love different foods from all over the world and try to make our own versions at home.

Healthy food was an adjustment, we are always striving to eat healthier, one of us knew more about the quality of canned vs frozen vs fresh vs organic.

You are what you eat so this should be a topic of discussion in your first year before the arguments over meals begin.

DUA | PRAYER FOR NEWLY MARRIED COUPLE IN ISLAM:

Marriage is of great importance in islam. Just other basic necessities, one important neccessity of human beings is marriage. Islam has considered marriage as an act of worship.

The Prophet peace be upon him said “Marriage is my way (sunnah) ” . The Prophet peace be upon him has mentioned marriage as half faith. Whoever marries he protects half of his faith and for the rest half he must keep fearing ALLAH.

Marriage is the way (sunnah) of prophets. Almighty ALLAH says in the Holy Quran : “And indeed We sent Noble Messengers before you, and made wives and children for them;” (Surah Raad verse 38).

Whenever the ALLAH’s beloved messenger Mohammad (peace be upon him ) wished a newly married couple, he would say this dua | prayer for newly married couple:

بَارَکَ اللّٰہُ لَکَ وَ بَارَکَ عَلَیکَ وَ جَمَعَ بَینَکُمَا فِی خَیر۔

“May ALLAH grant blessings and shower blessings upon you and join you both on goodness.”

Islam mein nikah ki badi ahmiyyat hai. Islam ne nikah ke talluq se jo fiqr aitedaal aur nazariyya tawazzan paish kiya hai woh nihayat jaamey aur be nazeer hai.

Islam ki nazar mein nikah mahez insani khwahishaat ki takmeel aur fitri janabaat ki taskeen ka naam nahi hai. Insan ki jis tarah bohat saari fitri zaruriyat hain bas usi tarah nikah bhi insaan ki ek ahem fitri zarurat hai.

Isliye islam mein insaan ko apni is fitri zarurat ka jaiz aur mazhab tareeqe ke saath poora karne ki ijazat hai aur islam ne nikah ko insani baqa wa tahaffuz ke liye zaruri bataya hai.

Islam ne toh nikah ko ehsaas e bandagi aur shaoor e zindagi ke liye ibadat se taabeer farmaya hai.

An hazrat sallallahu a’laihi wa sallam ne nikah ko apni sunnat qarar diya hai.Irshad e nabawi hai, “Nikah meri sunnat hai” .(صحیح بخاری کتا ب النکاح) .

Aan hazrat sallallahu a’laihi wa sallam ne nikah ko aadha imaan bhi qarar diya hai. Jo koi nikah karta hai toh woh aadha imaan mukammal karleta hai aur baqi aadhe deen mein ALLAH se darta rahe. ۔(مشکوٰۃ المصابیح کتاب النکاح)

Nikah ambiya kiraam ki bhi sunnat hai. Irshad rabbani hai: وَلَقَدْ اَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلاً مِّنْ قَبْلِکَ وَجَعَلْنَا لَہُمْ اَزْوَاجًا وَّ ذُرِّیَّۃ .” Aye Mohammad sallallahu a’laihi wa sallam humne aapse pehle yaqeenan Rasool bheje aur inhein biwiyon aur aulaad se bhi nawaza (سورۃ الرعد 38)

Naye shadi shuda jode ke liye masnoon dua darj zeel hai.

ALLAH ke pyare Rasool sallallahu a’laihi wa sallam Jab kisi naye shadi shuda jode ko mubarak baad dete toh yun kehte : بَارَکَ اللّٰہُ لَکَ وَ بَارَکَ عَلَیکَ وَ جَمَعَ بَینَکُمَا فِی خَیر۔ .

“ALLAH tujhe barkat de aur tujhpar barkat naazil farmaye aur tum donon ke darmiyan bhalayi par ittefaq paida farmaye. (Sunan Abu Dawood Hadith no 2132)”.
