Salvation Prayer – christian salvation prayer

Salvation prayer is a prayer to God asking to be saved. As Christians we are not always on the right path. When we stray from Gods path, that is when we need to pray and ask our Heavenly Father for salvation.

Salvation can mean different things, to different people. For some it is not just about asking to be saved from a particular situation. It is also about getting closer to God. Some prayers for forgiveness include:

Salvation Prayer

“Loving Lord Jesus, for too long have I kept you my life. I accept that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. Lord, no longer will I shut the door when I hear you knocking. Father, by faith I happily accept your gift of salvation. God, I am ready to trust you as my Lord and Savior.

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for coming down to earth. I accept you are the Son of God who died on the cross for the sake of my sins and rose from the dead on the third day. Thank you for taking over my sins and granting me the gift of eternal life. I believe your words are true.

Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and be my Savior. Amen.”

Salvation Prayer

Simple Salvation Prayer

“Heavenly Father, I acknowledge that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for my own sake and that is wrong. Lord, I need You in my life; I need You in my life. God, I believe the completed work of Your Son Jesus Christ by giving His life for mine on the cross at Calvary.

Father, I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely attainable to me through this sacrifice. Please come into my life now, Lord. Make your residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. Father, from this day forward, I will no longer be led by sin, or the wish to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life.

Those days are in Your hands. I ask this in Jesus’ precious and holy name. Amen.”

Short Salvation Prayer

“Loving Lord Jesus,I thank you for sacrificing yourself on the cross for my sin. Please forgive me. Come into my heart. I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Now, help me to live for you the rest of this life.In the name of Jesus, I pray.

Amen.”

Salvation Prayer in the Bible

“Have mercy on me, O God, because of your abundant love. Because of your great sympathy, cross out the stain of my sins. Wipe me clean from my guilt. Cleanse me from my sin. Father, for I recognize my revolt; it haunts me day and night.

Lord, against you, and you alone, have I sinned. I have done what is evil in your eyes. Cleanse me from my sins, and I will be clean. Wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. Father, give me back my joy again. You have broken me now let me rejoice.

Heavenly Father, don’t keep looking at my transgressions. blot the stain of my guilt. Make in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me.

Do not banish me from your presence, and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me. Reimpose to me the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey You. The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit.

You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God. Amen.”

Prayer of Repentance and Salvation

Loving Father! Search my heart. I beg that you would bring all my sins to my attention, that I may know them and repent. Father, cleanse me from sins I am not aware of, and let me not dwell on them long enough to be rid of them.

Heavenly Father! I want to have victory over deliberate flagrant sins that are so obviously wrong in my life. Your strength can help me do this.

Yes Lord! The words of my mouth do not mean anything if the meditation of my heart is not purified. Cleanse my heart, O Lord, that the words coming from it would come from an honest place, and thus be pleasing to you.

Almighty Lord! You alone are my rock which I can stand steady on, and you alone can forgive my sins and redeem our relationship. Amen.”

Salvation Prayer for Kids

“Loving Lord, you have poured out your spirit on me as part of your everlasting New Covenant blessings. You have filled me with the Holy Spirit and made me aware to the sweet things of you. Father, please do that in my children. I pray for my children that you would pour out your Spirit on them, causing them to be born again and to live with zeal for you.”

Prayer for Salvation for Others

“Almighty God, Thank You for You are able to open spiritually blind eyes. Forgive me Lord, for my indifference to the eternal risk to my unsaved friends and family.

Also for my weariness of praying when there appears to be no answer. Father, please give me a renewed hope that Jesus Christ might be welcomed as the Savior and Lord in the hearts of those I know.

Assist me to be persistent in prayer and faithful in speaking the truth about Jesus. In His Name. Amen.”

Salvation Prayer for Youth

“Loving God, I know that, in my short lifetime, I have not always lived for you. Father, I have failed in ways I probably don’t even know yet are sins. I know that you have plans for me, and I want to live according to those plans. Lord, I pray to you for forgiveness for the ways in which I have sinned.

I am selecting now to accept you, Jesus, into my heart. Father, I am eternally thankful for your sacrifice on the cross and how you died so I can have eternal life.

Lord, I pray that I will be filled with the Holy Spirit and that I continue to live as you desire for me to live. I will struggle to overcome temptations and no longer let sin lead me. Father, I put myself my life and my future in your hands.

I pray that you work in my life and guide my path so that I continue to live for you for the rest of this life.

Prayer for Family Salvation

“Heavenly Father, I come to you on the behalf of those in the Body of Christ. Those who have been praying for the salvation of family members. Unsaved husbands, wives and children included. I ask that you would send your ministering Angels into each home, to minister to every person that is an heir of Salvation.

Lord, I take authority over the demonic strongholds that have caused tensions and divisions in those marriages and families right now! God, And I bind up the enemy and rebuke Him from those families in the name of Jesus Christ.

For those wayward children, I ask that you would draw them towards You by your Spirit to come to know you, and that the yoke of rebellion would be broken from over their lives in the name of Jesus Christ. Father, that you would raise them up as the new breed of the Joshua Generation in the end time, and they would be disciplined, trained and equipped to win a lost and dying world for you.

I pray New Life, Restoration and Salvation over every family member represented here on this day, in the name of Jesus Christ. I thank you Lord for hearing our prayers and for the answers to our petitions.In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. So be it! Amen.”

Jesus Salvation Prayer

“Heavenly Father,I come before You in the Name of Jesus. Lord, I admit that I am not right with You. God, I want to be right with You. I beg You to forgive me of all my sins.

The Bible commands if I confess with my mouth that “Jesus is Lord,” and accept in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved (Rom. 10:9).

I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of my life. Thank You for saving me!

In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.”

Prayer for Salvation and Healing

“Loving Jesus,

I believe in You. I acknowledge You are the Son of God, that You died for our sins, and that you were buried and rose again. As it is written in the Bible, I’m sorry for the things I’ve done that offend You. Father, forgive me for all my sins.

Enter into my heart, take control of my life and make me the way You want me to be. God,with Your ever present help, I repent all my sinful practices of the past. Purify my heart with Your precious blood. Write my name in Your Book of Life. I confess You now as my Lord and Savior.

Child Salvation Prayer

“Loving Jesus, I know that you made me and want me to obey you with all my heart. Lord, I know I have disobeyed and wanted to be my own boss. I have thought and done things against your will.

Father, I am sorry. I know that you gave up Your son Jesus’ life to save me from these sins and make me your child again. I accept your promises and ask you to please save me now and forever. Amen.
