Prayer Of Strength For The Weary

Prayers for Strength

Prayer Of Strength For The Weary

Have you ever needed supernatural strength to face a situation head-on, but not known what to pray? God is waiting and wants to offer us strength in time of need. Do not be afraid to pray and ask God for His strength to fall upon you! When you are weak, weary or unready to stand, and unsure of what to ask, pray along with these words!

A Prayer for Strength

Lord, I’m weary. My energy is sagging, and my motivation is lagging. And I am so in need of you. I need your strength and your fresh touch to get back on track again. Your Word says the joy of the Lord is my strength. If that's true, then I need your joy to replace all the bone-tired parts of my mind, body, and soul.

The pressures of life sometimes push me into a corner, rendering me helpless to move forward. A hundred voices call my name, and I feel paralyzed at times to answer, not knowing where to turn. Lord, help me not to quit, to keep running the race faithfully, and to find strength in that safe, secret place of yours, under the shadow of the Almighty.

I need your strength to say no when I'm tempted to surrender to harmful things, or when selfishness clings to my clothes and won't let go. I need your strength to say yes, when cowardice and fear nudge me to deny the convictions of my heart. I need your strength to reach out in love to those both close to me and all around me. When don't I need your strength, God?

You are my rock, and I run to you today, believing that you will lift up my heavy arms, that you will fuel me for the tasks you've given me, and that your joy will completely consume the weakness of my life and make me strong again. I don't want to stay grounded, crippled by limitations and failed attempts. I'm tired of feeble efforts. Lord, I want to mount up with wings an eagle and not just fly. I want to soar.

Renew my strength, Lord. Fill me with your supernatural power to overcome each obstacle in my path. With my eyes on you, Lord, with you walking beside me, working through me, I can make it. Thank you, Lord!

In Jesus's name, Amen

A Prayer for Strength and Encouragement

Lord, David, I need your encouragement in a time of trial and anguish. Thank you that you are always on the throne, always my God, ready to save. Thank you for being the same God to me that you were to David.

Thank you for always being near and always rescuing me from my fears and hurts. Lord, help me remember that daybreak might be just ahead, that this trial will not last forever.

Fill me with hope that daybreak is coming and that your love will always prevail! In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
~ A Good Thing Devotional

Lord, I am weary and don’t know when this “race” will end in my life. I feel I’ve been running forever, trying to outrun this trial. Help me to stop trying to outrun my pain but rather run with endurance the race you have set before me. I know that because of you I am ultimately a victor over the trials in my life.

I know that nothing in this world can separate me from your steadfast love. Please give me a measure of your love today; give me the strength to endure this trial.

Thank you for your love for me that never ends! And thank you for the crown of joy that awaits me forever in your Kingdom!

54 Powerful Prayer for Pastors and Church Leaders Points

Prayer Of Strength For The Weary

Home Intercession 54 Powerful Prayer for Pastors and Church Leaders Points

Having been involved in ministry for a while now, I know just how stressful shepherding people can be. This is especially true for those who are truly sold out to the cause. A study carried out by Duke Divinity School revealed that the rate of depression among pastors is about double of that of everyone else.

The rate was slightly lower for pastors who were interviewed in person. One could accredit this to the pastors not wanting to burden others with their burdens. This is the way that our pastors are trained in general.  //today.duke.edu/2013/08/clergydepressionnewsrelease

As the body of Christ, we are called to hold each other up. The ones we often turn to and depend on need to know that at the very minimum they can depend on us to lift them up in prayer. Some of the greatest scandals that have rocked the church have been a result of mishaps and misfortunes of leaders.

These people are no deities; they are just as humane as any one of us. Expectations are higher for them, and so are some of the temptations and scrutiny that they face daily. Above that, they also carry additional problem that their flocks are facing at any given time. This is not easy, by any stretch of the imagination.

Matthew 26:31

Then Jesus told them, “This very night you will all fall away on account of me, for it is written: “‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’

The scripture above illustrates the key issue here. The enemy’s strategy will always be to target the ones who are in leadership positions. Jesus himself recognised this, as was said in Zechariah 13:7. Our prayers should stand guard over our shepherds. This is what these prayer points are about. As we stand guard over the men and women of God, the Lord will cover all of us.

Beyond the pastors, there are various leaders in ministries. These may be standing in official positions or simply functioning in said capacity. We want to lift these servants up to the Lord as well. Every individual who gives their time and effort to the work of the Lord within the church.

Father keep our shepherds in the right place, may we not be scattered. Uphold and uplift their being, their standing and their voice. May they always stand in and rely on you! Guide and keep us oh Lord! We pray over every person that will raise their voice to you on behalf of their pastors and leaders. Bless and keep them oh Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen

Day to Day Ministry

2 Tim 4:2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.

  1. We want to pray that our pastors would be empower by the Holy Spirit in the preaching of the word.
  2. Give them boldness oh Lord, to speak matters of your heart and not to seek to please man.
  3. Give our pastors boldness to stand as corrector to the flock. In these times where wickedness goes unchecked in the church. Let our pastors arise.
  4. Grant our pastors and leaders grace to be encouragers of the body of Christ. Give them wisdom to know what to say!
  5. May their walk in Christ be filled with patience. May their footsteps bring peace and joy!
  6. May their walk be blameless before you! Raise them to truly be men and women after your own heart.

Keeping Watch

Acts 20:28 Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood.

  1. Father we thank you for the gift of stewardship. We thank you for the flocks that you have given pastors to watch over. Grant them grace to lead as you would.
  2. May the value of the flock be never diminished in their eyes. May they always remember the price that you paid for every single person under their care.
  3. Grant our leaders grace to remain watchful over themselves, that they may not stray from your will, oh Lord!

50+ Powerful Biblical Prayer Points for Healing for the sick

Authority

Hebrews 13:17 Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you.

  1. Lord we come against the blinding spirit of pride and arrogance in our church leaders. May they remain coachable.
  2. Lord we pray for the body of Christ. Grant us grace to submit to authority of the office that our leaders stand under. Give us wisdom to respect the anointing you have placed on these men and women.
  3. May our ministries not be a burden for the leaders. Let them be a great source of strength and of joy.

To whom much is given

James 3:1 Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.

  1. Father we thank you for the sacrifice that leadership is. The pray for our leaders today. We pray for preservation for them and for their families.

New pastors and leaders

Jeremiah 3:15 Then I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding.

  1. Father in these selfish times, raise selfless shepherds for your people!
  2. Lord reveal your heart to your people. Raise pastors after your own heart.
  3. We come against the spirit of arrogance and self-centred aspiration.
  4. Father remove the spirit of greed that is eating at the heart of our churches today. May our churches be known for being your hand in our communities.
  5. We pray that you would pull down those who have strayed away from your will, and seeking to profit off the gospel.

Servant Hearted Leadership

1 Peter 5:1-4 To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder and a witness of Christ’s sufferings who also will share in the glory to be revealed:

2 Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve;

3 not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.

4 And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.

  1. Father we pray that our pastors, deacons, elders and all others serving in ministry would never forget the honour that it is to be able to serve your people.
  2. Raise leaders who are more keen to wash others’ feet than to have their own feet washed.
  3. May your gospel not be tainted by greed, oh Lord.
  4. Father, may our leaders be exemplary in all that they do.
  5. As church leaders, Lord we pray that we always remember that we are stewards of all that is in our hands. Grant us grace to multiply and not to hoard for ourselves.

Strength and Perseverance

Isaiah 40:31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

  1. Father we pray for all pastors going through tough periods. Renew their strength.
  2. May they never forget that they can lean on you. Grant them humility and wisdom to know when they are weary and in need of rest. More than anything, grant them wisdom to seek you in these times.
  3. We pray that you would raise a solid support system for our leaders. We come against the spirit of loneliness, in Jesus’ name.
  4. We declare that our pastors will hope in you, oh Lord. They will soar eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Prayer Points for Pastors: Unshakable leadership

1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

  1. Father we thank you for the families of church leaders. We thank your for the sacrifices that they also have to make. There is a cost to them as well, as their loved ones serve. Bless them oh Lord!
  2. We pray for leaders who have sown seed but are yet to see fruit. Give them wisdom to know to wait on you.
  3. Father let none of our service, as leaders be half-hearted. May we always be fully committed to all we do for you and through you!
  4. We come against the spirit of envy, and denominationalism. Grant us grace to walk in one accord, in Christ.

Do not be weary

Galatian 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

  1. Father we call upon a harvest for every seed sown in evangelism. Wherever the gospel has been shared, let it begin to take root.
  2. We pray for consistency and persistence in doing your will.
  3. May your good works never run short of doers, oh Lord. I refuse that the rocks would cry out while I live!!

Philippians 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

  1. Lord we pray for sustenance and provision for our leaders. May they not be plagued by lack while they serve.
  2. We pray that their needs would not become gluttonous.
  3. May their hearts not be filled with worldly desires of gathering possessions and wealth for themselves.

Prayer Points for pastors and church leaders: Do not muzzle

1 Timothy 5:18 For Scripture says, “Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain,” and “The worker deserves his wages.”

  1. Lord raise us to always be uplifters of leadership.
  2. May our leaders never have to carry burdens alone.
  3. Grant us grace to be their providers as they provide for us spiritually.
  4. May our leaders be known to be yours even by how they spend their resources. Your word says that where our treasure is, is where our heart is. May their hearts be in you always.

The ministry of prayer

Acts 6:2 “But we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”

  1. Lord we banish the spirit of prayerlessness among our leaders. May they be men and women of prayer, more than they are doers.
  2. Let their actions be birthed in the prayer closet.
  3. We pray for our church prayer meetings to be uplifted.
  4. Let our church prayer meetings become incubators of your glory.
  5. We pray for overflow in the miraculous. Overflow in healing, in testimonies from time vested in prayer.
  6. Our prayer closets will never be neglected.
  7. Lord may your eternal word be shared relentless among us.
  8. Bring unity and harmony beyond our religious and denominational divides.
  9. Bring a prayer revival into our homes, into our workplaces, into our schools and more than ever, into our churches. In Jesus’ name.

We want to take this time to thank you for taking time to pray with us. Let us keep our churches and leaders uplifted through prayer. I remember reading how high the rates of suicide were among pastors. God forbid that this would become acceptable under our watch.

We are stewards even of our words, of our prayers. Let us not be the steward that buried his talent. May your mouth bring forth great things in your sphere, through Christ Jesus! Thanks for using these prayer points for pastors and church leaders.

Almighty Graceful One
(a prayer for strength and patience)

I need to give out so much more than I can give alone. I need the strength that comes from you, Almighty graceful one. I need the strength of wisdom, so that just a tree, I can grow roots deep in you that others do not see.

Prayer for Strength and Hope

Holy and gracious God, Thank you for the fact that no matter where I am, you are with me. When I make decisions, you are there to comfort me. God I pray that today you be with me each second. I am struggling with everything right now, and I pray that you give me the hope to go on.

Please give me hope and purpose so I have a goal to achieve. Please help me as I uncover your will for my life, and give me the strength to take steps in the right direction. I know you have a purpose for me. Reveal it to me and help me to have the strength required to overcome my shortfalls and insecurities.

Please be with me and help me.

In your Son’s holy and precious name I pray, Amen.

Strength to Overcome Daily Obstacles

Prayer for Strength

Righteous God, I need your strength today and every day. Of myself, I can do nothing, but I can do all things only through Jesus Christ, Who will strengthen me.

I do need this strength almost every day, especially the older I get. You can uphold me by your righteous right hand, and only by your Spirit can I endure.

When my own strength fails, yours takes over, and I thank you for having access to you through Jesus Christ, in whose precious name I pray. Amen.

5 War Room Prayers for the Weary Woman

Prayer Of Strength For The Weary

There is a difference between being a tired woman and being a weary woman.

The feeling of being tired at the end of the day is satisfying. You sleep and wake up refreshed and ready to tackle another day.

But weariness isn’t physical.

Weariness is a soul and spirit weighed down, exhausted, worn out….and crying for relief.

While weariness can be traced to worry, anxiety, or unforgiveness, it can also result from bad habits or health issues. And in my next post I will talk about 10 things I do when I am weary.

But establishing healthy habits are of little value if we don’t first find rest in Jesus Christ.

When you find yourself soul-weary, the first place you need to go is to your war room. And here’s why: Satan will take advantage of your weariness. He will whisper lies to your heart.

He has already been creating a strategy for your demise.

He want to use your weariness for his purpose, to steal your joy, to rob you of your purpose, and to destroy your testimony.

When you are weary, you need to get in your war room and begin developing a strategy against the enemy….a war plan for victory!

Satan roams about, and when he finds weary women lying down on the battlefield, he finds an easy target for his sinister agenda.

He’ll whisper lies.

Get 30% off of this study today with the coupon code: weary

He’ll convince you that instead of getting up to go to church or keeping your usual quiet time, you need to sleep in, go to the beach, veg out on the couch with your favorite Netflix binge….

do anything and everything but the one thing that will give you true soul-rest — entering into the presence of Jesus where you can lay down your burden at His feet!

His strategy is to not only keep you weighed down with your burden, but to keep piling on.

After you’ve avoided your quiet time – or your church – for a while, new guilt piles on…and you begin avoiding God’s presence because you don’t feel worthy any longer.

And the more you avoid God’s presence, the easier it is to compromise in more areas, and that brings more guilt and condemnation….

and your weariness grows even more.

Satan’s got you right where he wants you. That thief! He comes to steal, kill, and destroy. His agenda is always the same!

This is why the weary woman must find their way to their war room – even if it means crawling on their hands and knees….

1. Isaiah 40:31

But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

God, I look to you. I hope in You. I purpose to linger here in expectation of You. You have promised that when I wait on you, You will give me new strength; that You will cause new power to spring up inside of me. You promised that I will soar with wings as eagles; that I will run and not grow weary, I will walk and not be fatigued.

I pray that You will grant me that strength today by the power of Your Holy Spirit.

In Jesus Name, Amen.

2. Matthew 11:28-30

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

Jesus, you said that when I am weary, exhausted, and burdened I need to come to You.

I am coming to You today. You promised that if I come to You and follow you, that you will give me rest; that you will refresh me. You promised that if I take on Your burden and learn from You, I will find soul-rest.

Jesus, I need rest deep, deep down in my soul. Teach me. Train me how to wait on You. Show me how to lay down my burden and take up Your burden instead.

In Jesus name, Amen.

3. Psalm 127:2

It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows; for so He gives His beloved sleep. Psalm 127:2

Lord, my hurt inside has caused sleepless nights. busyness, I woke up extra early to get a head start on my day. I’ve worked too hard and exhausted my body and soul. Rather than feeding my spirit Your Word, I fed on my hurt, my pain. I fed on my work. I fed on my to-do list and now I’m utterly weary.

I know now that it was worthless. And now I am asking you: give me rest. Give me sleep. Give me rest deep down in my soul so that I can wake up feeling refreshed and renewed….body, soul, and spirit.

In Jesus name, Amen.

4. Psalm 4:8

I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8

Heavenly Father, I need Your peace right now. My soul is weary, my spirit is exhausted and troubled. But Your Word says that You give us healthy mind and soul. You also say that You help me to abide in Your confidence, hope, and security.

Right now, I choose to lay down every burden in my heart. I choose to receive your peace, confidence, and hope. Please give rest to my body, soul and spirit. Help me to sleep in Your perfect peace.

In Jesus name, Amen.

5. Nehemiah 8:10

This day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10

God, I choose to today – right now – to consecrate this day unto you as a day of significance. Today I choose to lay down my hurt, my pain, and my past. Today I choose to receive the joy You give – the joy of the Lord.

In Your Word, You promise that Your joy gives strength, refuge, safety, protection. That Your strength is a stronghold I can run to.

Please be my strength. Be my refuge and my safety. Give strength to my body, soul, and spirit – the strength that only You can give.

In Jesus name. Amen.

Strength for the Weary

Prayer Of Strength For The Weary

Have you ever felt incredibly tired?  So exhausted that you wonder whether you can continue to do anything productive?  Facing such deep fatigue that it is hard to keep going?

Maybe this is the way you feel right now.  Or, maybe you have experienced this depth of weariness at some point in the past.  Possibly you know someone currently dealing with this kind of fatigue.  Regardless of whether it is you or someone else, the promises from the Word of God are true and reliable.  The LORD’s strength is available to anyone who needs it.

My hope is that the thoughts shared in this letter will encourage you greatly.  Here is the bottom line:  If you are tired, God promises to provide strength for the weary.

A Promise to Apply

I tend to be a fairly energetic person, and I to stay busy.  But every person has limits — and during a recent intense season, I hit mine.  One day I found myself standing beside my desk completely exhausted — more tired than I had felt in years.  Along with this overwhelming weariness, I was also fighting off the attending discouragement that comes with that kind of exhaustion.

As I sagged over my desk, suddenly this phrase came to my mind: “He gives strength to the weary.

”  I was almost sure it was a verse of Scripture, so I searched the concordance for the citation in the New American Standard version.

There it was — Isaiah 40:29 — word for word, exactly as I had remembered it: “He [the LORD] gives strength to the weary.”

At that point, I made a rather basic, practical transaction.  I said, “LORD, I am really weary right now.  As I understand it, Your Word promises that You give strength to a person in my condition.  I believe it, LORD.  So, at this very moment, I appropriate Your strength, receiving Your promise to give strength to the weary.  Thank You, LORD.  Amen.”

A Wonderful Process

In one sense, that was the end of the matter.  I had read and understood the promise: “He gives strength to the weary.”  I had affirmed that I believed it to be true, and prayed to receive the benefits of the promise for myself.

But actually, a much fuller outworking of this important principle began with that initial prayer.  Admittedly, there was no immediate surge of energy that miraculously remedied my situation — although it could have happened that way, and I would have welcomed it.  Instead, I embarked upon a gradual process where, over the next few days, I steadily gained in strength — His strength.

During that same period, I took some time to explore the principle more fully, looking at other passages from Scripture on the same theme.  For example, I gave close attention to Jesus’ words in Matthew 11:28: “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden (some commentaries translate this, ‘who have worked to the point of exhaustion’), and I will give you rest.”

In the next verse, there is additional assurance from Jesus for those who come to Him in their weariness:  “…and you will find rest for your souls.”  What wonderful promises!

Doing Our Part

Next, I broadened my study to other passages — some which clearly indicate that you and I have a part to play in this strengthening process.

(Usually, this is the prescribed way for us to receive God’s promises — we must take practical steps to appropriate them.

)  For example, the passage in Hebrews 12 where, after a discussion of the benefits of discipline, the writer encourages: “Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down [can you relate?], and the feeble knees” (v.12).

The Amplified version of verse 12 is too good to pass up:  “So then, brace up and reinvigorate and set right your slackened and weakened and drooping hands and strengthen your feeble and palsied and tottering knees.”  The writer leaves no doubt of the type of person he is addressing with this passage — someone who is extremely tired!

Isaiah 35:3–4 gives a similar exhortation — but this one involves an amazing promise.  First comes the instruction from the prophet: “Strengthen the weak [sinking] hands, and make firm the feeble [tottering or stumbling] knees.

“  But then, you and I are commanded to encourage our tired friends with a huge promise: “ Say to those who are fearful-hearted, ‘Be strong, do not fear!  Behold, your God will come with a vengeance, with the recompense of God; He will come and save you.’”

these promises, we can confidently do our part — knowing for certain that the LORD will do His part as well. He will come! He will save!

Exchanging Our Strength

So let me ask you again: are you feeling really tired?  Are you looking for a solution to your personal exhaustion?  How wonderful to know there are answers in God’s Word!

Derek Prince adds helpful perspective to the Scriptures we have cited so far.  In fact, he shared some powerful insights on Isaiah 40:29–31 in a message entitled, The Eternal, Unchanging Word.  Included in that teaching is the very subject of this letter: “He gives strength to the weary.”

I believe [Isaiah 40:29–31] really has a message we all need to take to heart today — that natural strength is not sufficient.  When you are young, vigorous and active, your mind is keen and life is in front of you. It’s pretty difficult to absorb that truth.

But even that kind of arrogant, youthful strength — self-confidence, self-reliance, cleverness, wisdom and technology — are not enough.  What does verse 30 say?  “Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall.”

What is the alternative?  “But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength.”  The word renew in Hebrew is “change.”  Or “exchange.”  They shall exchange their strength. In what way?  They give up their own; they receive God’s.  When you come to the end of your own, you’re able to receive God’s.

Let’s look again at that 29th verse: “He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.”  I have quoted that to my wife [Lydia] because she has literally no might.

I have said to her, “There you are.  You’re a candidate for that verse.  That’s for you. You’ve come to the end of your own.  You’ve lived a very full, long, active, rewarding life.  Now, if you are to have any strength, it will have to be supernatural.  It will have to come from God.”

And that is in God’s hands.  I’m not testifying to make God do something, let me tell you that.  I don’t believe God has an arm that can be twisted.

I’m just transmitting to you what I believe the LORD has been teaching me.  I believe this is the true, eternal, unchanging Word of God.  The only anchor that we have in a shifting, stormy world: the truth — the eternal truth — of God’s Word.

Receiving His Strength

How important it is for us to realize what Derek pointed out — that it is God’s strength we are receiving! Certainly, as his teaching confirms, we have a part to play in the process.  There is an exchange to be made.  We trade our paltry resources for the revitalizing power of God’s Holy Spirit as He flows through us.

Are you ready for this kind of revitalization?  Do you want to ask the LORD to start the process today?  Let’s do so together with the following prayer:

LORD, I admit that I am tired.  I am exhausted by the circumstances of life and the situations I have been facing.  I need Your strength, and I call out to You for help.  I am asking You now to provide Your energy and power for my life.

You are the One Who never grows weary.  You are “the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth.  You neither faint nor grow weary.” Your resources are eternal and inexhaustible.  So I come to you, LORD.

In addition, I want to obey the instruction You issued, LORD Jesus, for me to come to You.  Truly, I am weary and heavy-laden, and I need Your rest.  As You said, I will take the step to put on Your yoke and learn from You.  Your yoke is easy and Your burden is light; and I will find the rest I need for my soul in You.

In my weak and weary condition, I look to You for strength.  I exchange my weakness for Your power.  I place myself in Your hands, for You are the One who gives strength to the weary. Amen.

Growing Strong Together

Now that we have prayed together, why not take just a few minutes to wait in the presence of the LORD?  Drink in His Spirit — pouring over you at this very moment.  The restoration process has begun, refreshing some of those weary places in your heart.

You may wish to thank the LORD in advance for the new life He will bring to the parched regions of your heart by His Spirit.

If you are in a place where you can do so, why not lift up your arms as the Scriptures instruct and flex your knees to get strength back into them?  Actions these are physical declarations that you believe the truth of His Word and desire to see it fulfilled in your life.

You have established a pattern just now that will serve you well in the years ahead.  Whenever you face weariness or exhaustion in the future, you know exactly what to do.

Hopefully, in the days ahead, you will not only increase in physical strength, but spiritual vitality as well.

We would love to help in every aspect of your spiritual renewal — and one sure way is by offering you the full message, The Eternal, Unchanging Word, from which we took Derek’s excerpt.  You can download the MP3 by using the link below.
