Heartfelt Prayers for Women Who Want to Get Pregnant ⋆ She Blossoms

Prayer For Fruitful Womb

Are you searching for a miracle prayer for getting pregnant? This prayer for women who want to have a baby will soothe your soul, heart and spirit. Praying to get pregnant can be emotional because you want to a baby so much and your body just isn’t cooperating.

You may also be searching for help on how to pray for healing in your body, or even help with your marriage. So much in your heart, so many prayers for pregnancy and healing! And so few words.

These thoughts and prayers for pregnancy will help you stay focused on God’s love, light, and will for your life.

You will find a new sense of faith and – more importantly – connection with Jesus Christ.

In the Bible, Hannah’s prayer for pregnancy was answered in 1 Samuel 1. It’s important to know why her prayer for a baby was granted by God.

I’ll share the passage of Scripture here and explain what I recently learned about Hannah’s prayer for getting pregnant and having a baby.

You’ll find the help and hope you’re looking for – especially if you’ve been trying to conceive a baby for a long time.

You may want to get pregnant more than you’ve ever wanted anything in your life. If you’re desperate to have a baby, your prayers may be more about your own wants and needs than accepting God’s will for your life.

This can be a dangerous place to be because you’ll be devastated if you don’t get pregnant quickly.

And what happens if you pray to get pregnant but you don’t have a baby? This is why it’s important to put God’s loving will for your life ahead of your own yearning to get pregnant.

Prayers for Women Who Want to Get Pregnant

Below is Hannah’s prayer for pregnancy and a healthy baby boy in 1 Samuel 1. I’ll explain what I learned about praying for a baby from a recent Tim Keller sermon podcast. Then, I’ll share a Centering Prayer for Pregnancy, which I originally posted eight years ago when I was praying for a baby.

Remember that prayer isn’t about getting what you want. Praying – even to get pregnant and have a baby – is about changing your heart and mind to align with God’s will for your life. No matter important it is to have a baby, you’ll have a more joyful and peaceful life if all you want is God’s best for you.

Prayer is about spending time with God so you get to know Him better. Praying for a baby isn’t just about getting pregnant; it’s about taking your relationship with Jesus to a deeper, more personal and healthy level. Praying is about learning how to be stable, secure, and peaceful no matter what happens in your life.

Hannah’s Prayer for a Pregnancy

On one occasion, Hannah got up after they ate and drank at Shiloh. The priest Eli was sitting on a chair by the doorpost of the Lord’s temple. Deeply hurt, Hannah prayed to the Lord and wept with many tears.

Making a vow, she pleaded, “Lord of Armies, if you will take notice of your servant’s affliction, remember and not forget me, and give your servant a son, I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life, and his hair will never be cut.”

While she continued praying in the Lord’s presence, Eli watched her mouth. Hannah was praying silently, and though her lips were moving, her voice could not be heard. Eli thought she was drunk and said to her, “How long are you going to be drunk? Get rid of your wine!”

“No, my lord,” Hannah replied. “I am a woman with a broken heart. I haven’t had any wine or beer; I’ve been pouring out my heart before the Lord. Don’t think of me as a wicked woman; I’ve been praying from the depth of my anguish and resentment.”

Eli responded, “Go in peace, and may the God of Israel grant the request you’ve made of him.” “May your servant find favor with you,” she replied. Then Hannah went on her way; she ate and no longer looked despondent.

From 1 Samuel 1 – The Christian Standard Bible.

Why God granted Hannah’s prayer to get pregnant

Look at the parts that I bolded: Hannah didn’t just “give” her baby to God – she vowed to completely and totally set her son apart for a holy life. Then, Hannah became radiant, and she worshipped God — even before her prayers to get pregnant were answered!

Hannah didn’t worship God radiantly and fervently after she got pregnant. She was a woman after God’s own heart before she conceived her baby. She released her grip, she loosened her grasp, she let go of her desperate yearning to get pregnant. She prayed for a baby, but she didn’t make it the center of her life, her heart, and her worship.

Hannah loved God for who He is, not what He could give her.

It wasn’t that Hannah said the right things when she was praying for a baby, or that she recited a centering prayer for pregnancy that convinced God to open her womb! It was that she released her desperate grip to get pregnant. She let go of the neediness, the yearning, the clawing frenetic desire to have a baby.

Worship God for who He is when you pray for a baby

Praying to Get Pregnant

Praying for a baby can be a beautiful act of worship – if it comes from a heart that is completely submitted to God’s will for your life. When your spirit is open and accepting to whatever God has in store for you, you become free from the desperation that many women feel when they’re depressed because they can’t get pregnant.

It’s good to pray for a baby – God wants us to ask Him for the desires of our hearts! But, if you set your heart, mind and soul on having a baby, then you’re not open to God’s holy and perfect will for your life. Basing your happiness on a child is a mistake. God may still grant your prayer for a pregnancy, but your happiness will always be tied up with your kid. And that, my friend, will eventually break your heart.

“Prayer does not change God, but it changes him who prays.” ~ Søren Kierkegaard.

Allow God to change your heart as you keep praying for a baby. Trust Him. Learn what it means to really, truly be open to whatever He has planned for your life and family. Learn how to worship God for who He is — even if you’re not pregnant. Even if you’ve been saying prayers for a pregnancy for years.

Below is the “centering prayer for pregnancy” that I originally shared eight years ago, when I was praying for a baby. Remember that it’s one way to pray for a baby, but it’s not a miracle prayer that guarantees you’ll get pregnant.

It’s important to trust God to prepare your body for pregnancy, and it’s also important to take care of your health! God gave us doctors, research studies, and brains to help us get and stay healthy. If you’re not taking good care of your body – or if your husband isn’t taking care of his fertility and sperm health – then you are delaying your chances of getting pregnant.

If you’re praying for a baby because you’re coping with fertility issues, you might also add a prayer for healing for your and your husband’s body. Always remember that prayer isn’t about getting the pregnancy you want…it’s about finding the strength, hope, and peace to live with what God allows into your life.

Centering Prayer for Pregnancy

Centering prayer is an ancient meditative art that involves silencing your heart and mind. Take a deep breath, and allow God’s peace, love, joy and freedom to fill your life. Ask the Holy Spirit to descend upon you, to give you the peace that passes all understanding.

Centering prayer is a way to calm your mind and still your spirit, to instill your body with a sense of peace and health, and to create a heart of acceptance towards what God wills in your life.

These four steps will guide you through a centering prayer for pregnancy. Remember that your goal isn’t just to get pregnant. It’s to get closer to God, and to align your will with His will for you and your family.

1. Choose a sacred word or phrase that symbolizes your prayer for pregnancy

The focus of centering prayer is to consent to God’s presence and action within.

Choose a word or phrase that helps you remember that you are consenting to God’s work and power in your life – whether that means getting pregnant or not getting pregnant.

For instance, your sacred word could be “Trust” or “Hope” or “God’s will be done” or “Acceptance.” Note that it’s not necessarily “praying for a baby” or “increased fertility” or “conception”! The idea is to be open to what God has in store.

2. Find a comfortable position and quiet space when you pray for a baby

Where can you pray comfortably for 20 minutes? Try not to pray in a place where you’ll fall asleep or be distracted. Close your eyes and let go of everything happening within you – all your hopes and yearnings and wishes to be pregnant. Your prayer to get pregnant is meant to soothe your mind, heart, and spirit.

When you’re praying for a baby, be prepared for distractions, such as images, feelings, reflections, physical sensations, and unexpected thoughts…and use your sacred word to ease those distractions.

3. Use your sacred word in your pregnancy prayer

Whatever disruptive thoughts or emotions come to you, lay your sacred word over them. For example if you start to feel scared you’ll never get pregnant, repeat “Trust” or “Acceptance” until you feel calm and focused on God. If you keep frantically thinking about getting pregnant or what will happen if you don’t get pregnant, savor your sacred word: “Faith” or “God’s will be done.”

Practice saying these words and phrases at different times during the day. Worshipping God for who He is – not what He gives you – goes far beyond a set time of centering prayer for a pregnancy.

4. Rest in silence after you pray for a baby

Taking two or three minutes to transition from centering prayer to back to your everyday life. This helps set and cement your intimacy with God in your heart, mind, and soul. A huge and exciting benefit of learning how to pray for a baby is that it helps you feel peaceful, hopeful, faithful, and able to accept of whatever God allows into your life.

No prayer to get pregnant will guarantee you’ll conceive a baby, but prayer can may you spiritually, physically, and emotionally stronger to deal with whatever happens.

The purpose of pregnancy prayer is to give you peace, hope, and acceptance – whether or not you get pregnant. Knowing how to pray for a baby is important – and so is knowing when it’s time to get medical advice from fertility specialists.

6 Prayers For Fertility or a New Baby

Prayer For Fruitful Womb

There are so many blessings that come with having children! The pitter patter of little feet running through the halls and the laughter accompanying it always makes me smile! Whether you are a parent already or trying to have your first child, you can be assured that children are one of the biggest blessings you have or will have ever.

With that said I know some of you are having difficulties with having kids and my heart goes out to you. I understand this as well. I have been through miscarriages in the past and I understand how frustrating it is to try and conceive as well. It took 2 ½ years of trying before my little girl was formed in her mom’s womb. Stay strong in the Lord, and He will sustain you.

Here are 6 prayers that you can pray for fertility or a new baby.

Real Rewards

“Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.” (Psalm 127:3)

Gracious Father,

I cannot thank You enough for blessing me with my children. I am in awe every day that I look at them and see myself in their eyes.

I remember being a child and being loved by my parents and I also thank You for them, Lord! I want to love my kids even better than my parents loved me, and I hope my children will strive to love their own children, someday, better than I have loved them.

I am overjoyed at how they want and desire love from me. I am more than willing to shower them with my love, Father! Thank You for these wonderful kids of mine! I love You, Lord! Amen

Fertility Issues/Troubles

“Behold now, the Lord has prevented me from bearing children.” (Genesis 16:2a)

Abba, Father,

I feel forgotten, Lord. I have cried out to You! I long for a baby of my own, Father. I can’t rely on my own abilities and strength anymore. You are the giver of life and I come to You now. Father, hear my prayer! I desperately want a child of my own. I understand why Sarah was so depressed in Genesis, Lord.

She was very old when You gave her a child. Father, if it be Your will, I beg of You, give me a child of my own that I can love on and raise through Your standards.

I will memorize scripture with them! I will show them how to love others with a “Christ-” love! O Father, I am at Your mercy and I pray for deliverance from infertility. I love You! Amen

Surround Us

“When ye frequently, and in numbers meet together, the powers of Satan are overthrown, and his mischief is neutralized by your -mindedness in the faith.” – Ignatius of Antioch

Dear Lord,

I thank you for my newborn! His/her eyes are so beautiful when they are open! I am in awe of how You have brought this tiny little baby into my arms! I praise Your Name, Lord! I ask now that You would have our friends, family and church family surround us with their love and wisdom, Lord. I pledge to raise this baby in Your church, Father. May it be that our church family will surround this little one with love, affection, wisdom and song. I love You, Lord! Amen

Strength To Persevere

“How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me? How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and everyday have sorrow in my heart?” (Psalm 13:1-2)

Father,

I am at rock bottom. My wife and I have been trying for 2 ½ years to have a little baby. I don’t even want to try anymore, Lord. What is the fun in hoping for something that doesn’t seem it is going to happen? Father, I have nothing left in me.

I don’t even want to try anymore to have a child. It is ruining the intimate moments with my wife. We aren’t even enjoying each other. We are exhausted, Lord. I pray for Your strength to press on.

Father, if it be Your will, please give us another baby! We are at Your humble mercy, Lord. I love You! Amen

Salvation

“Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved.” (Romans 10:1)

Father, God

You alone have the power to give life in Heaven and death in Hell. I pray for the salvation of my newborn. Father, I pray that by the way I teach my child Your scriptures and truth that he/she will hold fast to Your Word and never walk away.

I pray that they will retain the knowledge that they learn and put it to good use in the way they conduct themselves as they grow older. I can’t imagine life without my baby now, and I can’t imagine life without them in Heaven either! Give me patience when they are in sin.

May I always show them love even when it doesn’t make sense to them. Jesus showed His accusers love by asking You to forgive them, Father, while He gave His own life up for humanity.

May I always have that kind of love for my own kids, that they may grow up knowing You are the One and True God! I love You! Amen

Infertile

“I am weary with my moaning; every night I flood my bed with tears; I drench my couch with my weeping.” (Psalm 6:6)

Father in Heaven,

You already knew the results of my test before it came back. Lord, there is no chance for me to have babies! I feel so inadequate and abnormal. I don’t feel a man today. I feel a failure.

Lord, I know you see me differently, but being a man that cannot give my wife the precious gift of children is killing me! How do I move on from here? My wife and I wanted so badly a child of our own flesh and blood, and now that dream has become a nightmare.

Father, I have no idea how to process this. I need You now more than ever. Lord, I still want children! Father, if not through my own marriage, please lead us to a child we can adopt.

I want to love on a child with the love of Jesus! Father, help me through this as I grieve over my own incapability to bring a child into this world. I need to feel Your presence surrounding me, Father. I need You! I love You! Amen

Conclusion

Whether you have a new born or are having fertility issues, stay in prayer with God. He is always available. If anyone needs prayer, please let me know and I will pray for you. As I said above, I have dealt personally with miscarriages and fertility issues as well. May God bless you as you live a life worthy of the calling!

20+ Powerful Prayer for Fruit of the Womb with Bible Verses

Prayer For Fruitful Womb

Before we go into prayer for fruit of the womb, let us define some terms. What is fruit of the womb? For those who don’t know what fruit of the womb is, it’s a child. A fruit in this context is a product of the womb.It is an offspring. This is terminology is archaic, and no longer widely used. You will still hear it used within the church.

Reference

Proverbs 17:6 Children’s children are a crown to the aged, and parents are the pride of their children.

Infertility Statistics

If you have never thought about it, or know someone who has been through it, you may view this issue as a fairly simple one. Man mates with woman and the fruit of the womb results. However, for many people across the world it is not so simple. Infertility means not being able to get pregnant.[OWH]

Let’s consider some statistics when it comes to infertility.

  • In the UK about 1 in 7 couples may struggle with conceiving. [NHS].
  • In the US about 9% men and 11 women within reproductive age have experience fertility problems [NIH].
  • Up to 15% of reproductive-aged couples worldwide struggle with infertility.[WHO].
  • Over 30% of women between the ages of 25 and 49 suffer from secondary infertility, which is the failure to conceive after an initial first pregnancy.[WHO].

About two years ago, we prayed for a lady who is from another faith. She is not a Christians, but ended up becoming a part of what was happening after the Lord has given her a word of knowledge about her life. She deeply desired the fruit of the womb.

Over the next weeks/months that she was a part of our prayer meetings, she continued to received words from the Lord! This is something that strengthened her, as she waited patiently for the miracles she so deeply desired!

Unfortunately she left us, after being ill treated by another member. We are a very ruthless bunch, as Christians at times. Her miracle came at about the same time. She received that which she had for so long believed Christ for, even while she was not a Christian! Our God is indiscriminate!

I mentioned this to strengthen your resolve and your faith! Won’t he do it again? Of course he will! God is faithful!

The bible has several women who were in the same position. Desiring the fruit of the womb and waiting on God to make it happen.

Prayer for fruit of the womb: God delights in giving good gifts

Psalm 37:4 Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Matthew 7:11 New King James Version (NKJV)

11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

Abraham and Sara’s pursuit of the fruit of the womb

Arguably the most famous case of infertility is that of Abraham and Sara.

Genesis 11:30 But Sarai was unable to become pregnant and had no children.

The hardest part of this was that the fruit of Sara’s womb carried prophetic promise from the Lord.

Genesis 17:5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

God tells Abraham that he would be a father of many nations. This would have in their minds meant that Sara would conceive, so they waited. The longer they waited, the more the seed of doubt is sown.

Is Sara to believe that God will not keep his promise, or that he would keep it through another woman. Perhaps Abraham’s promise was not to be the fruit of her womb.

We will wait on you oh Lord! However long it may take.

This is not an easy pledge to make. To say to the Lord, we trust your process. We will wait on you. Yet we know that the bible tells us the virtues of waiting.

Isaiah 40:31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint

We want to say, Lord you know all the seasons. I trust you

Ecclesiastes 3:1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens

You are master of time! You can do anything at any time.

2 Peter 3:8But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is a thousand years, and a thousand years are a day.

Strengthen my faith, to always stand on your word!

We understand that by this point Sarah had turned in the towel. She was no longer holding on to God’s word over her life. The prophecy had tarried much too long, that she didn’t see it as being possible anymore. What she didn’t realise is that God begins where we turn in the towel! That is why he is God.

Genesis 18:12 So Sarah laughed to herself as she thought, “After I am worn out and my lord is old, will I now have this pleasure?”

Abraham who is regarded as the father of faith had a lapse in his faith as well. He laughed at the prospect of the fruit of Sarah’s womb coming so late. May God give you a ridiculous testimony!

Father strengthen our faith to stand on your word as we believe for the fruit of the womb.

Genesis 17:17 Abraham fell facedown; he laughed and said to himself, “Will a son be born to a man a hundred years old? Will Sarah bear a child at the age of ninety?”

My child is yours, God!

Genesis 22:12 The angel said, “Don’t kill your son or hurt him in any way. Now I can see that you do respect and obey God. I see that you are ready to kill your son, your only son, for me.”

Even after waiting so long for Isaac, Abraham was willing to give him back to the Lord!

  • I don’t want to love anything or anyone more than I love you, God!
  • If you give the child to me, he/she will be yours for all his/her days.

Hannah’s Pursuit of the fruit of the womb

1 Samuel 1:2

2 Elkanah had two wives. One wife was named Hannah and the other wife was named Peninnah. Peninnah had children, but Hannah did not.

We know that Hannah was one of Elkanah’s wives. She was his favourite. He furnished her with anything that she could have desired. The only thing that she desired, but did not have was a child. Elkanah’s other wife Peninnah had several children.

Peninnah would taunt and make fun of Hannah. She cried to the Lord and waited on the Lord.

May the mouths of my enemies be shut

Samuel 1:12 Hannah prayed to the Lord a long time. Eli was watching her mouth while she was praying.

Samuel 1:19 Early the next morning Elkanah’s family got up. They worshiped the Lord and then went back home to Ramah. [Samuel’s Birth] Elkanah had sexual relations with his wife Hannah, and the Lord remembered Hannah.

  1. May the mouth of my enemies be shut!
  2. Father remember me.
  3. Grant me the desire of my heart.
  4. Give me the fruit of the womb, that I may conceive and deliver.
  5. Lord I trust that you are raising a wonderful testimony!

Prayer after having a miscarriage

Miscarriages are probably even harder than failing to conceive. Once you conceive, there is an emotional and physical attachment that you develop to the child. To see that taken away, lost is gut wrenching. It leaves a feeling of emptiness. You are left with questions or perhaps even frustration or anger at the Lord.

Prayer after having a miscarriage should be raw, honest and from the heart. We want to tell the Lord everything that we feel.

  1. Lord I am broken. I am hurt, this loss is difficult.
  2. I don’t want to be angry with you. Help me trust you, even when I am filled with pain.
  3. May I never be blinded by my pain.
  4. It hurts so much that I don’t know if I can go through conception again. Help me!
  5. Forgive me for questioning you.

We would love to support you in prayer. If you need someone to speak with or pray with, send in your prayer request.

Scriptures For Childbearing

Prayer For Fruitful Womb

Within the confines of marriage, it is God’s will for you to conceive and give birth to a healthy wonderful child. Read and confess these scriptures until faith drops into your heart.

You will know when it does, just one knows when they are pregnant. The Bible says that everything is a seed, everything after its own kind.

And again, everything else we can receive from God, it comes through faith:

Through faith did Sarah herself also receive bodily power for the conception of seed, even when past the age of maternity, simply because she felt that He who had given the promise was true and faithful. Hebrews 11:11 A.S Way Translation

He gives the childless woman a family, making her a happy mother. Praise the LORD! Psalm 113:9

I am come that (you) might have life, and that (you) might have it more abundantly. John 10:10b

Confess these scriptures and get them down deep in your heart. Others can pray for you, and we will pray for you, but you are the best one to pray for you and successful prayer comes through faith.

The more you ‘know’ the will of God concerning a certain thing the more access to God you will have on that thing. Once God speaks to you and confirms the promise to you heart, you have it. Then all you have to do is speak it out, act on it, and with patiently for it.

Speak and meditate on the following scriptures until they become a part of you:

Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.” Genesis 1:28

After the flood God again commanded Noah and his family and said, “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.” Genesis 9:1

Isaac pleaded with the LORD on behalf of his wife, because she was unable to have children. The LORD answered Isaac’s prayer, and Rebekah became pregnant (with twins). Genesis 25:21

Then Esau looked at the women and children and asked, “Who are these people with you?” “These are the children God has graciously given to me, your servant,” Jacob replied. Genesis 33:5

“The midwives answered Pharaoh, ‘Hebrew women (God-fearing women) are not Egyptian women, they are vigorous and give birth before the midwives arrive.’” Exodus 1:19 Lord, thank you that I have vigor and strength to deliver this child you have given us!

“The Lord is my strength and my song. He had become my salvation.”  Exodus 15:2 Lord, You are my song in the light and in the dark. I will always sing to you, my Savior and my strength.

You shall be blessed above all peoples; there shall not be a male or female barren among you or among your livestock. Deuteronomy 7:14

If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully keep all his commands that I am giving you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the world. You will experience all these blessings if you obey the LORD your God: Deuteronomy 28:1-2, 4, 11

I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him. 1 Samuel 1:27 Hannah’s prayers for a child were answered.

“It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect.” 2 Samuel 22:33 Lord, You make the way of our baby’s delivery perfect. You cause my body to be strong and work perfectly in order to glorify yourself in the delivery of our child.

“In my distress I called to the Lord, I cried to God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.” Psalm 18:6 Lord, I call to you for any help I will ever need, no matter what my situation. I call on You first… and you hear my call.

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear…” Psalm 46:1-2 Lord, You are the only ever-present one. Thank you for being with us during labor and delivery. I will not fear.

For the LORD God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. Psalm 84:11

He gives the childless woman a family, making her a happy mother. Praise the LORD! Psalm 113:9

“Great peace have they who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.” Psalm 119:165

Lo, children [are] an heritage of the LORD: [and] the fruit of the womb [is his] reward. As arrows [are] in the hand of a mighty man; so [are] children of the youth. Happy [is] the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. Psalms 127:3, 4, 5

Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children olive plants round about thy table. Psalm 128:3

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made…” Psalm 139:14 Lord, You made me. You created me to carry and deliver children. Thank you for making me in such a wonderful fashion.

“A heart at peace gives life to the body.” Proverbs 14:30

“You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.” Isaiah 26:3 Lord, You are my supernatural, perfect peace. I know your peace and will know it during labor and delivery of this child. My focus is on You and your goodness.

“Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall, but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.” Isaiah 40:30-31 Lord, You will renew my strength during delivery. My strength will not wear out because it is from You and my hope is in You.

“So do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 Because You, Lord, are staying with me throughout my labor and delivery, I have no reason to fear.

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you…” Isaiah 43:2 Lord, thank you for not leaving us alone. Thank you for being with our baby as it passes through the waters in my womb.

“I, even I, am He who comforts you.” Isaiah 51:12 Thank you, Holy Spirit, for always being my comfort. You always bring the comfort I need.

“…and great will be your children’s peace (shalom).” Isaiah 54:13

Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God. Isaiah 66:9

But the angel said to him, Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John. And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth. Luke 1:13, 14

Abraham’s faith did not weaken, even though he knew that he was too old to be a father at the age of one hundred and that Sarah, his wife, had never been able to have children. He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God. Romans 4:17-18

“I can do everything through him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13 Lord, I confess I can do this through You. It is You who gives me strength.

By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. Hebrews 11:11

God’s promise is for a healthy full-term pregnancy and delivery. Believe Him for it. Stand your ground in faith

You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. Psalms 139:15 [ see also Jeremiah 1:5, Luke 1:15, and Galatians 1:15]

But You are He who took Me the womb. You made Me trust while on My mother’s breasts. I was cast upon You from birth. From My mother’s womb You have been My God. Psalms 22:9-10

Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God. Isaiah 66:9

Fight fear with all you have. Remember, the presence of fear does not mean danger, it just indicates the presence of fear. We, with the help of the devil, make the connection to danger. See – Scriptures Against Fear

Jesus loves infants and children!

Then they also brought infants to Him that He might touch them. But when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. Jesus said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Luke 18:15-16

But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them. Mark 10:13-16

At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me. Matthew 18:1-5
