Prayer For A Deeper Faith And Love For Jesus
Three words to a deeper faith – Featured Today – Catholic Online
Three words that will bring you closer to God, three words that very well could change your life. We all wish for a deeper relationship with God, we all want that personal relationship with Jesus. But in truth how do we achieve this? What do we need and where do we start?
Connection, this is the first step, we must make a connection to God, and we must work at this connection and remove anything that may be in our way. Much a outlet and a plug, if the connection is not solid, free of corrosion the electricity will not flow freely, it will be weekend and the light not as strong.
A clean connection will allow the flow of electricity to fully eliminate the bulb, filling the space with a bright white light.
The same can be said for your connection with God, if you have corrosion in your life, how can the energy (God) flow freely to you? Sure you will get some, but you will not get the full effects.
So the first part of the three step plan is to clean your connection, to clean your life. It's time to remove any corrosion (obstacles) in your life that will prevent you from connecting to God.
I am a firm believer in list making, so make a list of obstacles, be honest, and list anything you may think is an obstacle. It can be TV or smoking or friends and family members. The list should contain anything you feel may block or obstruct your connection to God.Once you have the list, now it's time to sit in a quiet place and pray for guidance, asking the Holy Spirit to help you discern the list, to help you clear the path to God. Ask God to help you clarify your list, removing or adding to it as needed.
This process may take time, most ly will take time, be calm and allow the Spirit of God to work through you. Every so often repeat this little exercise, make sure your connection is corrosion free, the results will be well worth the effort.
Collaboration, the second step in the process, well in truth all three steps work together, but we will look at them as three separate steps. Collaboration, teamwork, that's what it's all about. Ask any high powered business person and they will tell you that you have to collaborate; you must work as a team to achieve the dream.
Look it up on the net and you will find hundreds of seminars on the topic and books beyond your imagination. With all the effort being spent on this topic, there must be something to it all. And there is, God did not create us to just sit and allow things, events, to happen to us. God created us to collaborate with each other, and, wait for it……
Yes God can do it all on his own, in truth he really don't need us, nor our help. But God, in his wisdom, knows that if we humans have to work for it, we will appreciate it more, it will have meaning to us.
How often have you told this to children “If I just give it to you, and you don't work for it, you will not take care of it, you will not appreciate it”.
Well if that is true for a toy or the latest electronic gadget than how much more true is it for what God wants for us?
God created us to be collaborators with him, his Son and the Holy Spirit. God does not force us in to anything, God allows us to choose, but in choosing He also needs us, or rather wants us, to work with him, to carry our cross too be a partner in the process. As the example above shows, we need God to help us discern, but as this example tells us, God wants us to help. We must be active in the process. Too many people say, “I'll leave it to God”, well that's fine, but if you want a response you must also actively work with God, you must collaborate with him.
The third part of the plan is Co-creating, we are called to co-create our salvation. Jesus commands this, and we, if we wish to achieve the goal of heaven, must obey this command.
God creates all life, but God also call so to be co-creators along with him. We are told to “Go forth and multiply”. The act of “multiplying” is the act of co-creation.
God surly could do this on his own, but rather than doing that, he has granted us, mere humans, the privilege of co-creating with him.
God, in his wisdom does nothing just for the sake of nothingness. He knows what he is doing. All we have to do is allow him to do it. And to follow his directions.
God wants us to work with him, to collaborate and co-create; God wants that connection to be strong and free of corrosion.
But God will not do it for us, we must choose to work at it, and we must choose to allow God to work with us.
God will not interfere where he is not welcomed, He will always be ready to help, but we must want it, we must be willing to work for it and with him on it. God understands our human nature; God understands that if we work for it, if we suffer for it, if we break our backs to get, we, as simple beings, will appreciate it.Co-creation is essential to the process of connecting to and collaborating with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. It is the process of making new, whether it's a new self or a new life. Co-creation is the greatest gift God has given the human race, in the act of co-creation we get to be, in a very tiny way, God. We get to feel, in a very subdued way, how God must feel.
Co-creation allows us to work hand in hand with the creator of all things, great and small. Think about it, when you co-create with the creator of all, you are, for that small moment, connected to all times, you are connected to the alpha ns omega. You are part of salvation history for that one single moment of co-creation.
What an awe inspiring thought, and what a glorious gift from God.
Three words, three persons in the whole trinity, but one… We, a fallen race, can collaborate with, connect with and co-create with the mystery that is, we can be one with the one who is “I AM”. We are invited to participate in the creation of God's universe.
What a powerful idea…

Powerful Prayers for Love [Quotes & Bible Verses]
HIS love is unlimited for all eternity.
“I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine.” – Song of Solomon 8:3
Love might just be the most powerful entity that affects both the emotional and mental states. In other words, love can alter the way we act and think about a particular individual/entity.
A mother's love for her child is always unparalleled and a man’s always so possessive of the attention his lady shows. We can even call that jealousy and from experience, the greater the love, the greater the jealousy. That said, God is an extremely jealous Father.
He is also an all-encompassing family that offers so much more in our times of need. So, His love compels Him to be with us through thick and thin. And since we're our Father's children, we can't help but emulate such characteristics.
Still, attention must be paid to the fact that tempering the love of God with ours leads to an eternal bond between people. And in favor of such blessing, we have the following love prayers that work quite well.
Prayer for Love to Return
God, I thank You for granting me the resolve to stand before You today in acceptance of my faults and wrongs. I know I have treated him/her badly and the pain I'm feeling is due to my levity on the part of his/her feelings.
Please, God, I pray for an opportunity from You to apologise for my wrongdoings. He or she is the other half of me—the one that makes me whole. Father, I believe he or she is my completion and I pray that he returns to me. With open hands, I'll welcome him/her into my warm embrace.
Thank You once again for another miracle, Amen.
Prayer about Love for Others
Loving You is the best thing that has happened to me Oh Lord. You have stood by me ever since the fateful day that I accepted Your company. You have showered me with Your pure love, blessings, miracles, and divine protection. In fact, this prayer is only due to Your power.
By which, You kept me alive to see today and to make a request. I pray, Father in Heaven that You open the eyes of my family and friends. And for the ones who love You I do, Father keep both their eyes and mine open to Your devotion and adoration. I bless Your divine name for this deep and short prayer for love.
In Jesus Name I Pray, Amen.
Prayer for Love and Happiness
Looking back Lord, I understand that happiness is key to having a love-filled relationship. And from my experiences also, I know You hold that key.
God, I want You to open the door of joy in our lives so that this relationship will endure. It will easily endure ups and downs and the trials of time.
Let me breathe in the aroma of sweet love and fully immerse myself in the happiness given by my partner. Father, I give thanks to Your name over the answered prayers, Amen.
Prayer for the One You Love
Love is the emotion that drives me here Lord. I love him/her enough to pray on his/her behalf and You love me enough to make level all my worries. Father, I need You to take good care of “Name”.
He/she, despite the act, is always in need of Your favour and I pray that You show him/her more than enough. He/she shall be protected, raised heads about others, and miracles will be performed in his or her life.
Praises be sung about Your everlasting mercy, and In Jesus Name, Amen.
Prayer for Love and Marriage
As required by every child Lord, I bring my beloved to ask for Your blessing. He or she has been faithful, caring, and patient—so, I stand before You today, basking in Your glow as I ask that he/she be the one for me.
I want a peaceful and joy-filled marriage that'll be inseparable. Love shall be shared between us and there will be calm always. Father, prosperity in the areas of procreation, financial stability, and spiritual awareness shall complement our love.
I thank You for Your daily attention to my needs, Amen.
Bible Verses for Love
A few bible verses compiled for your consumption daily.
“Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken man.” That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.” – Genesis 2:22-24
The relationship between man and wife has been established from the beginning. Such meetings with your significant others are thus ordained by God.
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.
Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
” – Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
Completion cannot be attained without a significant other. In fact, life isn't so simple without your other and the verse above explains what that is about.
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” – 1 Corinthians 13:4-8This is the kind of love that our Father has towards us. It's also the kind of love that we should emulate towards each other (significant other, friends, and family).
“A friend loves at all times.” – Proverbs 17:17
The word “friend” isn't limited to your close pals only. It's a position that can be filled by God, your partner, and family.
Prayer Of Forgiveness
Prayer of Forgiveness: A Valuable Gift
A prayer of forgiveness is something we all seek at some point in life.
Forgiveness is a valuable gift that is neither easily obtained, nor easily given. Forgiveness is essential for life; it frees us from past wrongs and gives us hope for the future.
It is for forgiveness sake that Jesus Christ came to earth to die for mankind.
Prayer of Forgiveness: Made Possible by Jesus Christ
The prayer of forgiveness is a prayer that is offered up to God. Though we may directly hurt each other, all of our trespasses ultimately hurt God. You may wonder how this is possible.
How can our shortcomings hurt the omnipotent Creator of the universe? Does God even care? In Genesis 6, we find that God Himself actually grieved over all the wrongs that man had inflicted upon each other: “Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart” (Genesis 6:5-6).
All knowing, God grieves even at the mere thought of evil. Thus, ultimate forgiveness must also come from God. However, because of His justice, forgiveness cannot be freely given. Every wrong must be accounted for in order for God to be a just judge. Jesus Christ died on the cross at Calvary in our place so that our sins may be forgiven. His suffering paid for our transgressions. “For this is My blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins” (Matthew 26:28).
In His love, God knew that our conscience needed to be freed from guilt and condemnation. He knew that forgiveness of sins was our greatest need. In the ultimate act of love, God not only suffered the pain of our wrongs, but also paid for their consequences in order that we may have forgiveness offered to us when we sin. All we need to do is to accept His free gift of forgiveness.
Prayer of Forgiveness: Ask God for Forgiveness
Perhaps you have stumbled upon this web page looking for a prayer of forgiveness to soothe a tormented soul. Or maybe you are struggling with trying to forgive another for deeply hurting you.
For all who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, forgiveness has been freely given. If we acknowledge our wrongs and ask for forgiveness, God will forgive us – no questions asked: “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).
If we reject Jesus, in essence, we reject God's gift of forgiveness. We are in fact saying that we do not wish to be reconciled with God (1 John 1:10). Though it is our free choice to not accept forgiveness from God, we will ultimately be accountable for all the sins we have committed at the end of this life.
It is God's deep desire to be reconciled with you. “For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). If you desire to be truly forgiven, consider what Jesus said and sincerely accept Him as your Lord and Savior.
You will be forgiven and God will begin a transforming work in your life.
Prayer of Forgiveness: Receive a New Life
The prayer of forgiveness gives us a new hope and a new beginning. All our sins are wiped away by God. “For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more” (Hebrews 8:12).
If you understand that you are a sinner, and you believe that Jesus Christ came as the one and only Redeemer of sin, then you understand the prayer of forgiveness.
The question is – are you ready to implement the prayer, by receiving God’s gift of His Son, Jesus Christ? If so, believe in Christ, repent of your sins, and commit the rest of your life to Him as Lord:
- “Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”
“Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38).
If you decided to receive Jesus today, welcome to God's family. Now, as a way to grow closer to Him, the Bible tells us to follow up on our commitment.
- Get baptized as commanded by Christ.
- Tell someone else about your new faith in Christ.
- Spend time with God each day. It does not have to be a long period of time. Just develop the daily habit of praying to Him and reading His Word. Ask God to increase your faith and your understanding of the Bible.
- Seek fellowship with other followers of Jesus. Develop a group of believing friends to answer your questions and support you.
- Find a local gathering where you can worship God.

WHAT DO YOU THINK? – We have all sinned and deserve God's judgment. God, the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy that judgment for those who believe in Him. Jesus, the creator and eternal Son of God, who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that He died for our sins, taking the punishment that we deserve, was buried, and rose from the dead according to the Bible. If you truly believe and trust this in your heart, receiving Jesus alone as your Savior, declaring, “Jesus is Lord,” you will be saved from judgment and spend eternity with God in heaven. What is your response?
