Help Me In Prayer For My Husband!

“Hitherto have you asked nothing in my name: ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full.”

(John 6: 24).

Before we discuss the issue of the day, please take a moment to read this important information.

It has come to my notice that some fellows attempt to draw some women into evil schemes by claiming to use some diabolical means to get back their husbands.

In a few cases, they have attempted to impersonate me and sent messages to a few women. Even sent spurious comments to our website through the comments column, which our system detected and filtered out.

These people sometimes call themselves 'prophets'(?), but they are really spell casters or sorcerers. I do not know them, neither do they have my support and consent. They are tricksters and demonic agents who intend to perpetuate your family troubles, and get you to pay them dearly for it. In fact, I'm against them as my God is against them.

Please know that I will NEVER send any such people to any of you. If they contact you by any means, ignore them and inform me directly.

I hear they usually tell a story about their exploits and mention their contact who 'helped' them and ask you to get in touch with him / her.

They will never ask you to pray, read the Bible, attend a living Church or mention the name of JESUS CHRIST.

Ok, let's take up the day's matter.

       I want to start by mentioning some questions that come up frequently from many of you during our time in prayers. Really I counted 23 of them but I will list some prominent ones here today. I will take it further some other time.

Here’s a sample:

1. Has God revealed anything to you concerning my husband, his affair or our marriage?

2. How are you so sure that these prayers would work for me?

    3. Everyone I know wants me to forget the prayers, abandon my marriage and move on with my life, what do you say?

4. I’ve been praying those prayers for the past one week but things are rather getting tougher, shouldn't we change the prayers?

5. I’m hurting so much, weeping all the time, why is God not attending to my case?

6. My husband said he doesn’t love me, and spend a lot of time with the strange woman, but still comes around to me for sex. I feel used and angry, what should I do?

7. My husband has filed for divorce and wants me to assent and sign the papers, how should I respond?

8. My husband has moved our home and now lives with the other woman, and wouldn’t communicate with us. I’m praying, should I reach out to him or wait for him to come over?

9. My husband got the other woman pregnant (or have a child outside) and is now drawn to them more than us. Is this the end of our marriage?

11. My husband is supported by his mother and family to disrespect and to cheat on me. They are comfortable with him and the strange woman. How do I relate with them now?

12. I hear news of my husband's affair with the strange woman all the time and I'm devastated each time. I even see them parading on the social media. I can never get used to knowing he's out there with her. I'm hurting so bad I feel I may just die!

13. My husband is the world's undisputed champion in lying. He is very secretive and keeps password on his phones and computer. He lies all the time, even when you have evidence of his immoral acts. I'm fed up, what do I do?

The questions go on and on.

I have responded to many of these questions privately to many of you but I feel the need to also treat them in more detail here because the same seem to be asked again and again.

If these questions are answered outside God's wisdom, the answers would, most certainly, be different as when they are answered under God in prayers. Because wrong answers are the doom of many destinies today, it's important for you to be careful whom you listen to.

So,from this edition, we’ll start answering as many as we can accommodate. Shortly, I will show you our new page that would answer many of the questions.

Your Own Testimony Over Your Husband And Marriage Is Sure

I strongly believe that our prayers for (and with) you are working the way we pray it. Otherwise, I would be a fool to spend sleepless nights and hard days reading and praying for you. I wouldn’t endure one more minute, if I’m not confident we’ll make it.

Aside from believing and trusting God to fulfill your heart desires, we have sufficient assurance as we see many of our prayers achieve the expectations. This past month of June, we recorded an encouraging array of 91 testimonies.

That’s 91 families back again in one month, by God, through one prayer Ministry! If you add the number of changed lives, and saved souls, whose testimonies are not yet included because it’s still work-in-progress, you will be as excited as I am.

Please give God the glory!

That kind of result keeps my faith bubbling! That’s why I know that yours could be the next good report to thank God for!

But what are you praying? Are we in agreement or you are doing your own thing? Is the prayer duration over and you are holding on to what ought to be reviewed?

Are you in your own way, your own barrier, by blowing hot and cold at the same time? See James 1: 6-8.

If you don't surrender to the campaign from those foul spirits and their agents, in your thoughts and in your words, but stand and pray, you'll soon see how strong and superior the persistent prayer of a child of God can be. God will give you the grace.

When I think of the confusion and the pain of betrayal and insensitivity from your cheating husband, my prayers for you is empowered from 1 Peter 5: 10.

I prepare for intercession every time knowing exactly what I'm doing.

• I’m calling in my God to help me.

• I'm building power.

• I'm overthrowing evil in your marriage.

• I'm shining light in darkness.

• I'm boasting in the power of my God by whom nothing is impossible.

• I'm calling back the prodigal son to come back home.

As I do these, I never forget two scriptures:

“But the path of the just is as a shining light, that shines more and more unto the perfect day.”

(Proverbs 4:18).   

And…

“We have a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto you do well that you take heed, as unto a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arises in your hearts.”

(1 Peter 1:19).

Take a minute to meditate on those fantastic decrees from Heaven concerning you in the targeted prayers? Every time you pray, your condition gets better and better, until that day of victory.

Prayer draws the power of God according to your commitment to it. The more targeted prayers you pray, the more power you accumulate until it is enough to overpower the challenge. If you see signs that confirm this, fine. But, really, you don’t have to see signs anywhere to believe what God has said.

If I may tell you this, only 14 those 91 restored marriages had some sort of assurance that prayers were working! The rest were just sticking to it, with me here directing, then bang bang, we arrived! I feel screaming!

My 3-year-old daughter prays for her husband every single day. She is always talking about her wedding and even gets on one knee to propose to her dad (and to me!). Her little face lights up with the question: Will you marry me?

She’s so absolutely adorable, and it provides for many teaching moments about how marriage and family works. This stage of “I want to marry my dad” and “I want to grow up to be mom so I can marry dad” is a new and bittersweet experience because I was a single mom when Elisha and Elyssa were this age and they didn’t have a father figure.

So although praying for my husband is something I already do on a regular basis, my Little Pige has inspired me to pray for him more earnestly, and to say prayers that will bless him in every area of his life. I want my marriage to always be strong and I want us to grow closer together and to enjoy one another. 

Whenever I pray for him, I develop a thankful heart toward him and I am more able to see his support, his patience, and his willing heart. You can start the “praying for my husband challenge” any day of the month, and do it at your own pace. The last thing I want is for us to have yet another thing we’re going to beat ourselves up about. Just pick it back up and start when you left off.

Prayer To Find a Husband or Wife (with PDF Prayer Guide)

Are you single and not sure how to pray to get married? Do you need prayer to find a husband or wife–or maybe you need to pray for yourself to find a spouse, but you aren’t sure how to do so?

I do pray for all my readers who are single and desire to be married. But, even more, I desire to equip YOU to pray for your future spouse and marriage with confidence, knowing that God really DOES want you to be married if you want to be.

To assist you in your prayers, I wanted to share a model prayer with you that is much the way I prayed when I was asking God to send me my own husband.

First, rest assured that God’s Word does promise you a spouse of your own if you want one

Not everyone is required to have a spouse. Some people have a special ability to stay single and enjoy it. The apostle Paul had this gift, and he said it allowed him to focus more on the Lord.

However, marriage is still a VERY good thing. Marriage–between one man and one woman–is the very first institution that God created. He set Adam, the first husband, together with Eve, the first wife, in Genesis chapter 2.

Why?

Because He said:

… “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him” (Genesis 2:18).

So even though the apostle Paul wrote about his special ability to stay single and enjoy it, he was an unusual case. GOD said at the very beginning that it is not good for man to be alone … so He invented marriage.

Therefore, know this: if you desire to have a husband or wife of your own, it IS God’s will to give you one!
