5 Powerful Prayers for Protection and Safety

Evening Prayer For Protection For The Future

Our world is filled with events and situations that can cause great fear and anxiety. It’s easy to become overwhelmed and live imprisoned by fear.

We are promised in God’s Word that he is faithful and will protect us (2 Thessalonians 3:3).

God wants us to let go of fear and to live life to the fullest! (John 10:10) When you are overcome by worry, use these prayers for protection to remember who God is and the protection he has promised you.

1. Prayer for Personal Protection

Father, I come to You today, bowing in my heart, asking for protection from the evil one. Lord, we are assailed moment by moment with images on television, the internet, books and newspapers that leave us vulnerable to sin of every kind. Surround us with Your divine hedge of protection.

Encompass us round about with Your strength and Your might. Let all who take refuge in You be glad, let them ever sing for joy. And may You shelter us, that those who love Your name may exult in You. For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O LORD, You surround him favor as with a shield.

(Psalm 5:11-12)

Lord, I ask that You protect our minds. Father, the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace. (Romans 8:6) O God, set our minds on You.

Let us not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our minds that we may prove what Your will is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

(Romans 12:2) Help us by the power of Your Spirit to think on whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything is worthy of praise, let our minds dwell on these things. (Philippians 4:8)

Strengthen us in the power of Your might, O God. Dress us in Your armor so that we can stand firm against the schemes of the devil. We know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.(Ephesians 6:10-12)

You are our keeper, O Lord, the shade on our right hand. Protect us from all evil and keep our soul. Guard our going out and our coming in. From this time and forever. In Jesus' name, Amen. – by Lynn Cooke

2. Prayer for the Protection and Safety of Family

Lord, I pray Your emotional, physical, and spiritual protection over my kids (grandkids). Keep evil far from them, and help them to trust You as their refuge and strength. I pray You will guard their minds from harmful instruction, and grant them discernment to recognize truth.

I pray You will make them strong and courageous in the presence of danger, recognizing that You have overcome and will set right all injustice and wrong one day. Help them to find rest in Your shadow, as they live in the spiritual shelter You provide for them.

Let them know that the only safe place is in Jesus, and that their home on earth is only temporary.  – Ryan Duncan, Culture Editor at Crosswalk.com

3. Prayer for Children's Security

Lord, I pray that my kids (grandkids) will develop an eternal perspective and purpose, not an earthly one.  Help them to see life–and every challenge–through Your eyes, eager and unafraid to share with others the good news of Jesus wherever they go.

I pray that they will set their minds on things above, not just what’s going on here, and that they will be rooted and grounded in Your love. I pray they will come to understand the extent of Your own love for them–that it surpasses all the head knowledge they will acquire in school.

I pray they will be filled up with You from morning ’til night. – Rebecca Barlow Jordan

4. “St. Patrick's Breastplate” Protective Prayer:

Celtic monks used it to start their day.The hymn was several stanzas long, and the last two stanzas were especially memorable and moving:

Christ be with me, Christ within me, Christ behind me, Christ before me, Christ beside me, Christ to win me, Christ to comfort and restore me. Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ in quiet, Christ in danger, Christ in hearts of all that love me,

Christ in mouth of friend and stranger.

I bind unto myself the Name, The strong Name of the Trinity; By invocation of the same. The Three in One, and One in Three, Of Whom all nature hath creation, Eternal Father, Spirit, Word: Praise to the Lord of my salvation,

Salvation is of Christ the Lord.

5. “Priestly Blessings” Prayer from Scripture:

Numbers 6:22-27 is known as the “Priestly Blessing” or sometimes the “Aaronic Benediction.” There are seven requests made in this prayer.

The LORD said to Moses, “Tell Aaron and his sons, 'This is how you are to bless the Israelites. Say to them: “’The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.”' “So they will put my name on the Israelites, and I will bless them.”

1. The Lord bless you…
The word “bless” means to “provide favor or benefit.” Father, we pray that for our children. You are the Eternal God. Please place Your great kindness and advantage on those we love. May they be approved and favored by You.

2. and keep you…
The Hebrew word “keep” means to “watch, guard, defend.” This is a prayer for protection. Father, my children are not perfect. They are going to make mistakes. But please watch over them and guard them again mistakes of youth that are unalterable. Please defend them against temptation. Protect them against Satan who desires to devour them.

3. the LORD make his face shine upon you…
This is a request for God’s presence.Father, as a parent I know that I can’t be with my children all the time, but You can. Just they feel the warmth of the sun shining on them, please allow them to experience Your presence. Thank You for being with them wherever they go.

4. and be gracious to you…
Grace is God’s undeserved favor. He gives us what we don’t deserve. Father, thank You for Your gift of grace. I pray that gift to be poured out on my children. Following that great gift of salvation, please show them your kindness and love in all the endeavors of their lives.

5. the Lord turn his face toward you…
Here is a request for God’s fellowship.Father, thank You, that because of their trust in Jesus, the Holy Spirit lives in my children. Please walk with them in a powerful way. Enable them to submit to the Spirit’s control day by day and moment by moment.

6. and give you peace.
The Hebrew word for peace used here is “shalom.” It means “completeness, wholeness, and contentment.” Lord, please calm my children’s fears; soothe their anxious souls. Keep them complete and whole in their thinking, emotions, desires, and actions.

7. So they will put my name on ___________ (the name of your child/children). This is a request of identification. Lord, please place Your holy mark on my children. Set them apart to be used by You.

I love them but You love them more. You love them with an everlasting love. May they represent You well on their earthly journey. And when their journey is completed, welcome them home to live forever with You.

A Prayer When the Future Is Uncertain

Evening Prayer For Protection For The Future

One of the things I often fear is the future, as the future is uncertain. I worry about what might happen, what could happen and what I will do if any of the scenarios I’ve imagined takes place. I play out these situations in my mind, a disc set on repeat. I try to anticipate what will happen and plan for every possibility.

RELATED CONTENT: A Prayer for Those Needing Clarity Today

In our culture today, there is much uncertainty about the future. Fears often trigger other emotions, including despair and anger and much of it is played out on social media. In truth, there is much to fear in our lives and in our world.

The unknown can seem dark and filled with danger, as the future is uncertain. We wonder if we can handle it. We wonder how we can endure.

From our children’s health to paying for college; from job security to who runs the country; from prayers unanswered to relationships under strain; we worry about what could happen and what we will do when it does.

True safety is found in God’s presence.

David wrote, “Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war breaks out against me, even then I will be confident” (Psalm 27:3). Psalm 27 is a song and a prayer of trusting God in the face of fears.

We learn from this Psalm that our confidence is God’s unending protection,”The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?” (vs. 1).

True safety is found in God’s presence, “One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple” (vs. 4).

The ultimate fulfillment of this Psalm is found in Christ, the One who conquered our worst fears at the cross, and though the future is uncertain, I know in Jesus that everything will be okay.

He is our light and salvation. Because of Jesus, we can come into God’s presence with confidence and hope.

As Paul wrote in Romans, “What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?” (Romans 8:31-32). If God sacrificed His own Son to save us from our sins, how would He not also be with us in the fears we face today?

RELATED ARTICLE: Worry About the Future Is Beyond Us, and This Is Why

Dear friend, whatever you fear this day, go before the throne of grace in confidence because Christ has made the way for you. Cry out to God, give Him your fears, worries and cares. Ask for salvation, rescue and deliverance.

Instead of despairing over what could or might happen, run to the One who holds the world in the palm of His hand. Though the future is uncertain to you, it is not to God. Turn to the One who turns the hearts of kings (Proverbs 21:1).

Rest in the One who doesn’t let a sparrow fall from the sky unless He so wills it (Matthew 10:29). Find your peace in the knowledge that He is the Alpha and Omega, the One who knows the beginning and the end.

Nothing in your future will surprise your God because it is all under His sovereign rule and care. And because you are His, all things will work toward your ultimate good (Romans 8:28).

A prayer for when the future is uncertain:

Father in Heaven,

I come before you with my stomach twisted in knots. My heart is pounding, my head hurts and I can’t find any rest.

I open my computer, and all I read is bad news. The discussions, debates, articles and arguments all join together a loud clanging that I can’t escape. The future seems bleak and dark. I’m worried for myself and my family. I fear what the future holds. I wonder what life will be for my children and my grandchildren.

Then, I think about the struggles in my particular life, and I can’t catch my breath. What will we do if jobs are lost? What will we do if relationships aren’t restored? What about the challenges with our children? What about the call from the doctor about the tests? What if the worst happens? What if?

I come before you as the psalmist did: weary, worn and frightened. I come before You because You are King and you rule all things. I come before You because You are my Father—my Abba. You adopted me as your child and have given me every privilege that comes with being a part of Your family. I come before You because You are my Savior.

You alone can rescue me from fear, sin, temptation and all evil. I come before You because You are my Provider, Jehovah-jireh. You created all things and own all things. All I have comes to me from your generous hands. I come before You because You are my Redeemer.

You alone can redeem and restore all that is broken in my life and in the world around me.

Forgive me for turning my gaze from You and looking at the frightening things happening around me. Forgive me for forgetting that You are with me. Forgive me for not trusting. Forgive me for not crying out to You sooner, but trying to conquer my fears in my own strength. Forgive me for not living in complete dependence upon You.

Father, hear the deepest cries of my heart. Rule and reign over your Kingdom, turn the hearts of kings, and may Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Raise up godly leaders, teachers, pastors and people who love You and your Word. Use Your people to spread your gospel across the earth. May we be the salt and light You instructed us to be.

In my life, Lord, give me a peace that passes all understanding. Though I don’t know what will happen with all that troubles me this day, help me to trust you. Help me to remember that you are not surprised.

Help me to remember that nothing will happen today that takes You off guard. You are not asleep or too busy, but are actively involved in all the cares of my life. Help me to wait and watch for Your glory.

Help me to obey and do the right thing in the moment, knowing You are there in all the moments to come.

Most of all, help me to remember Jesus, the One who cried out in the garden on the night he was betrayed, “Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me.

Yet not what I will, but what you will” (Mark 14:36). I thank you that “For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God” (Hebrews 12:2).

Even now, He intercedes for me—what a marvelous truth!

I pray all this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Instead of focusing on the fact that the future is uncertain, focus on the One who will guide your way.

The Story of the “Prayer for Protection”

Evening Prayer For Protection For The Future

The “Prayer for Protection” is known the world over, and Unity is often asked how it came into existence. James Dillet Freeman explained once in his Unity Magazine column, “Life Is a Wonder”:

Let me tell you how I wrote Unity's “Prayer for Protection.”

When World War II was raging in Europe, we received many letters and phone calls from people caught in the conflict, but for a long time we did not have a prayer for protection that we were all satisfied with. This is how one came.

Silent Unity has always written a special Christmas Prayer Service just for Silent Unity workers. And in 1940 I was asked to prepare this service. We had never before needed a prayer for protection, but in 1940 we needed one, so I wrote one to go with the Christmas service. What I wrote was a little four-line verse:

“The light of Christ directs me; The love of Christ enfolds me; The power of Christ protects me; The presence of Christ upholds me.”

I had hardly finished this Christmas service before Silent Unity came to me again and asked me to write a protection pamphlet that we could send to people, so I did. It was called His Protecting Spirit.

A Prayer for Wartime

They told me they wanted affirmative prayers for protection on the back page. Among these was the verse from the 23rd Psalm: “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me” (Ps. 23:4 KJV).

One of the young women who worked in Silent Unity was reading my manuscript as I wrote it, and as she finished it, she came up to me and said: “Jim, if I were a woman in England and they were dropping bombs on my roof, or if I were a soldier and someone was pointing a loaded gun at me, I wouldn't want to feel I was walking through the valley of the shadow of death. Can't you do better than that?”

I thought, You want me to do better than the 23rd Psalm? You have to be your mind. But rolling around in the back of my mind was the little verse I had written as a prayer for protection at Christmas.

How the “Prayer for Protection” Was Written

I had written it just for Silent Unity, but now it came rolling up to the front of my mind and demanded that I pay attention to it. It enticed me to see what I could make of it.

First I took the rhymes from it. I felt it would be more universally received if it was not a rhyme. Then I changed Christ to God. It had been Christ because it was a Christmas prayer, but I felt if we were going to send it around the world, God might be more acceptable to more people. So the little prayer became:

“The light of God surrounds me, The love of God enfolds me, The power of God protects me, The presence of God watches over me.”

That is the way we first printed it. Then a line came to me that I felt would make the prayer even more powerful. The line was:

“Wherever I am, God is.”

I added it as the fifth line. The “Prayer for Protection” first appeared as a four-lined prayer in 1941, but when we reprinted it in 1943, it appeared in the form it has had ever since.

“The light of God surrounds me; The love of God enfolds me; The power of God protects me; The presence of God watches over me. Wherever I am, God is!”

God’s Message of Love

The “Prayer for Protection” came through change after change, not at all “I Am There,” when I felt that God spoke those words to me.

But what is the word of God? It is possible that no prayer Unity has ever printed has reached so many people as the “Prayer for Protection,” for not only has Unity printed it over and over, but almost every Unity church uses it to conclude its services. “I Am There,” it was carried to the moon.

On the very first flight to the moon, on Apollo 11, astronaut Col. Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin carried the Unity “Prayer for Protection” with him. He did not know me or Unity.

It has appeared in hundreds of different publications that have no connection with Unity, and millions of people have carried it around on cards that fit into their pocketbooks, pockets, and billfolds. It has been translated into many languages. Sometimes it appears with me as the author. Often no author is given. Sometimes other people are named as the author.

It has been changed and changed again before it reached the form that it now has that best meets people's needs. This prayer is the product of much thought and concentration and of a mind that was willing to stay open to receive divine inspiration.

I think Unity's “Prayer for Protection” is as much God's word as “I Am There” is. Sometimes God speaks to us when we don't even know it is God.

I think God has many ways of speaking to us and not only in words that we hear with our ears. I think God speaks to our hearts and minds, and sometimes God's message has nothing to do with words. God is love and intelligence and life.

More than anything we say God is, or even imagine God is, God is the one universal Presence and Power and is seeking to express Truth and beauty and good through all of us and for all of us.

Prayers for Protection at Work, Home and from Enemies

Evening Prayer For Protection For The Future

On this page you’ll find a list of prayers and verses for protection at work and home. Prayers to keep you safe and protect you from evil and enemies stand in your way.

Unless we avail ourselves within the protective arms of our God, we leave ourselves vulnerable to the attacks of the evil one. We must be diligent in reading God’s word, and ask Him to watch over and protect us individually, as well as His children. When you pray for yourself, pray for those you love, those you have never met, and even those who have hurt you in some way.

Let it be known that with God, all things are possible. Not some things, ALL things. When we feel afraid in life, ask for His protection and safety. Our Father does not desert His children. These prayers of protection are offered as a way to preempt those attacks and keep oneself and one’s loved ones under the protection of God at all times.

If the need for protection whether in your own life, or in the life of someone you love is present, let us pray for you at the holiest place on earth, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.

We have faith that sending your prayer request to the place where our Lord Jesus Christ gave his life for us will help your request be granted! It is our honor and privilege to be a part of your prayer warrior, and to ask the Lord to watch over you, protect you, and keep you, always.

The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my savior; thou saved me from violence. I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
2 Samuel 22:3-4

Prayer for Protection from Illness

Heavenly Father, I adore you and I love you with all my heart and soul. I thank you for having created me, and for watching over me in all that I do, every single day. Pardon me for my sins.

I ask that you watch over me while I rest and recover from illness. Please protect my body, and help me heal from this sickness that weakens me. May your unending grace be with me forever and ever.

I trust in all that You do, and all that You are.

Prayer for Divine Protection

Grant me, O Lord, your protection. Within your protection, strength. And within your strength, understanding. And within your understanding, knowledge.

And within your knowledge, the power of justice. And within the power of justice, the love of all of Creation. Guide and protect my body, my mind, and my best judgment in all things.

For you, O Lord, will never leave my side. In this I trust. Amen.

Prayer for Protection Through Life’s Journey

In the name of God I move forth through life’s journey. May God the Father always be with me, God the Son protect and watch over me, and God the Holy Ghost to stand by my side as I travel through the life you have given me. Amen

Prayer for Protection While Traveling

I ask that God’s Angels guard and keep you. As you travel, may you remain safe and secure, with His presence known to you at all times. May He watch over you as you leave home, wandering and maneuvering in other parts of God’s great earth. You are not alone. For He is always with you. Amen.

Prayer for Protection Over Your Family

Heavenly Father, I pray for your emotional, physical, and spiritual protection over my family and loved ones. I ask You to keep evil far away from them, and to help them to trust You as their refuge and strength in all things, without ceasing.

I pray You will guard their minds from harmful instruction and sinful ways, and to grant them discernment to recognize the truth.

I pray that You will make them strong and if they find themselves amist danger, recognizing that You have overcome and will set right all injustice and wrong.

Please help them to find rest in your shadow, and through your everlasting embrace, as they live in the spiritual shelter You provide for them. Let them know that the only safe place is in beside their Heavenly Father, and that their home on earth is only temporary.

Prayer for Personal Protection

Oh Heavenly Father, I come to You today, bowing my head and opening my heart, asking for protection from all the evil this world holds. Lord, we are assailed moment by moment with images on television, the internet, books and newspapers that leave us vulnerable to sin of every kind, every single day.

Surround us with your divine hedge of unbreakable protection. Encompass us round about with your strength and your glorious might. Let all who take refuge in You be happy and feel safe. Please shelter us, Heavenly Father, that those who love your name may exalt in You.

For it is You who blesses the righteous man and those who give their lives to You.

Verses:

10 Short Prayers For Protection

Evening Prayer For Protection For The Future

God is the great Protector. His name in Hebrew to describe this is Jehovah-Nissi. He is the One who defends, delivers, covers, preserves, shelters and watches over us. Sometimes we need to call upon Him in our prayers for protection. Here are ten short prayers for protection that you might want to consider.

Jacob’s Prayer for Protection from Esau (Genesis 32:9-12)

“… Please deliver me from the hand of my brother”

And Jacob said, “O God of my father Abraham and God of my father Isaac, O Lord who said to me, ‘Return to your country and to your kindred, that I may do you good,’ I am not worthy of the least of all the deeds of steadfast love and all the faithfulness that you have shown to your servant, for with only my staff I crossed this Jordan, and now I have become two camps. Please deliver me from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau, for I fear him, that he may come and attack me, the mothers with the children. But you said, ‘I will surely do you good, and make your offspring as the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude.'”

Jehoshaphat Fasted and Prayed for Protection from the Moabites and Ammonites and the Meunites (2 Chronicles 20:6-12)

“O Lord, God of our fathers, are you not God in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. In your hand are power and might, so that none is able to withstand you.

Did you not, our God, drive out the inhabitants of this land before your people Israel, and give it forever to the descendants of Abraham your friend? And they have lived in it and have built for you in it a sanctuary for your name, saying, ‘If disaster comes upon us, the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house and before you— for your name is in this house—and cry out to you in our affliction, and you will hear and save.’ And now behold, the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir, whom you would not let Israel invade when they came from the land of Egypt, and whom they avoided and did not destroy— behold, they reward us by coming to drive us your possession, which you have given us to inherit. O our God, will you not execute judgment on them? For we are powerless against this great horde that is coming against us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.”

Ezra Fasted and Prayed for Protection from the Enemy (Ezra 8:21-23)

Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God, to seek from him a safe journey for ourselves, our children, and all our goods.

For I was ashamed to ask the king for a band of soldiers and horsemen to protect us against the enemy on our way, since we had told the king, “The hand of our God is for good on all who seek him, and the power of his wrath is against all who forsake him.

” So we fasted and implored our God for this, and he listened to our entreaty.

David’s Prayer for Protection from his son Absalom (Psalms 3)

O Lord, how many are my foes! Many are rising against me;many are saying of my soul,

there is no salvation for him in God. Selah

But you, O Lord, are a shield about me,my glory, and the lifter of my head.I cried aloud to the Lord,

and he answered me from his holy hill. Selah

I lay down and slept;I woke again, for the Lord sustained me.I will not be afraid of many thousands of people

who have set themselves against me all around.

Arise, O Lord!Save me, O my God!For you strike all my enemies on the cheek;

you break the teeth of the wicked.

Salvation belongs to the Lord;
your blessing be on your people! Selah

Stephen’s Prayer for the Protection (mercy) of His Murderers (Acts 7:60)

And falling to his knees he cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

Paul’s Prayer Thanking God for Deliverance from Evil at Colossae (Colossians 1:9-14)

And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.

He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

“The Lorica” [1]

I bind to myself today – God’s Power to guide me, God’s Might to uphold me, God’s Wisdom to teach me, God’s Eye to watch over me God’s Ear to hear me,

God’s Word to give me speech, God’s Hand to guide me, God’s Way to lie before me, God’s Shield to shelter me, God’s Host to secure me,

Against the snares of demons, against the seductions of vices, against the lusts of nature,

Against everyone who meditates injury to me, whether far or near, whether few or with many.

Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ within me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ at my right, Christ at my left, Christ in the fort, Christ in the chariot seat, Christ in the heart of everyone who thinks of me, Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks to me, Christ in every eye that sees me, Christ in every ear that hears me.

Based upon Psalms 91:9-16

Holy God, I have made You my dwelling place, the Most High, who is my refuge and I trust that because of this no evil shall be allowed to befall me, no plague come near my home. For he will command his angels concerning me to guard me in all my ways. On their hands they will bear me up lest I strike my foot against a stone.

I will tread on the lion and the adder;  the young lion and the serpent I will trample underfoot. I rest upon your promise: “Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name. When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him.

With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” Amen

Based upon Psalms 140:1-5

Deliver me, O Lord, from evil men; preserve me from violent men, who plan evil things in their heart and stir up wars continually. They make their tongue sharp as a serpent’s, and under their lips is the venom of asps. Selah

Guard me, O Lord, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from violent men, who have planned to trip up my feet. The arrogant have hidden a trap for me, and with cords they have spread a net; beside the way they have set snares for me. Selah

Based upon Ephesians 6:13-17

Dear Lord, as I put on the full armour of God, I know that when the day of evil comes, I will be able to stand my ground, and after I have done everything, I will stand.

I will stand firm, with the belt of truth buckled around my waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with my feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.

In addition to all this, I will take up the shield of faith, with which I can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. I take on the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Prayer for healing, strength and protection

Evening Prayer For Protection For The Future

People face all sorts of problems every day. There are times when problems turn into real unfortunate events and happenings. And sadly, there are moments when nobody is there for you when you need help. But this is our own conception: that nobody is there to help us. God is there and we need to pray for healing, strength, and protection. We need to talk to Him in order to get help.

God is watching us and takes care of us. He sends Guardian Angels to protect us here, on Earth. We are not alone. There are no seconds of our life when we are alone. That is only what those who don’t have faith in God’s powers think.

But did you know that even these people that refuse to believe in the existence of God, have critical moments in their life when they start to pray? They start to pray in their own manner because they don’t know how to pray and ask for God’s help. God helps them anyway from that moment on because their prayers are a sign that they reached the right path.

They saw how hard it is to live without God. They wanted help and the only one who could help them was God.

God appreciates when someone that has taken a wrong path comes back to Him. God loves that person even more than before.

Some people pray to God every night before they go to sleep. They pray for healing, strength, and protection, but do they pay attention to the fact that sometimes we could just be thankful for all we have, instead of asking for more?

It’s good to know that every prayer should end with “Thank you, God, for all the good things in my life because they make me happy and loved and thank you also for the bad things that I went through because they made me stronger and they made me see how good You are!”

God loves us equally. We are all His beloved children. But we should not take this for granted and we should learn how to pray. We should know what to ask and thank for in a prayer for healing, strength, and protection.

How you should pray for healing, strength, and protection

Before all of these, you should take into consideration that you should find a quiet place where you can pray. You should clear your mind and you must think only of the fact that you will have a conversation with Him.

With your soul full of trust and with your mind full of God and the Angels, kneel down and you will feel a warm presence. Your Guardian Angel will kneel down too next to you. Start your prayer with “Thank you God for listening to me!”, whatever you want to pray for. Your Guardian Angel will make the connection between you and God and the prayer will be heard by God.

Be sincere when you pray! Open your mind and your soul and tell God all the things you did. Even if they are bad, even if they are good. God knows everything, but you have to confess all to prove to God that you want to be healed and to be saved by His great power and love.

What is a prayer?

A prayer is your conversation with God. That is why you must be sincere in everything you ask and everything you tell him.

A prayer for healing, strength, and protection is our direct line to heaven. A conversation with God should never be a bother for you.

I have heard people say they wouldn’t spend their little spare time to talk to God because they prefer to do something else instead.

Have you ever ask yourself if God wants to spend his time listening to us? His unconditional love for us is huge and He makes time at every hour and moment in a day and in our lives to listen to us. We should make time to talk to God.

Pray with worship and reverence. We should thank God for all He did for us.

Pray for healing, strength, and protection and get God close to you. Thank Him for all in your life and especially thank Him for your Guardian Angel you have next to you because his mission is to watch you and take care of you.

Psalm 99:5 says: “Exalt the Lord our God! Worship at his footstool, for He is holy!”

Colossians 4:2 says about prayer: “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.”

Jeremiah 33:3 tell us about prayer: “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”

Psalm 18:6 teaches us what the real meaning of a prayer for healing, strength, and protection is: “In my distress I called to the Lord; /I cried to my God for help. /From his temple he heard my voice; /my cry came before him, into his ears.”

The Bible tells us that the only mission of a prayer is to connect us to God, to tell Him sincerely about our soul and our life, to thank Him for what He gave us, good or bad, and to listen to His answers.

Prayer for healing

Pains are everywhere. There are pains in our soul, our mind, or in our body. There are moments in our life when our heart hurts so much. There are moments in our life when we suffer from an injury or our mind is full of bad thoughts. We need to be healed, that is why you should know a prayer for healing.

Psalm 107:19-21 says “Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and He saved them from their distress. He sent out His word and healed them; He rescued them from the grave. Let them give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love and His wonderful deeds for mankind.”

Cry to the Lord in your trouble, He will save you. We should all cry to our Lord when we are in trouble. No matter who your God is, pray to Him because He will save you.

A prayer for healing will always be heard by God. He is ready to save us. He is there waiting for us to turn our faces to Him and to ask Him for help.

Because even a man that doesn’t believe in God will do it at a hard moment in his life. And that means that God is his only hope. That is the moment when a man that doesn’t believe in God will start to believe in Him.

And that itself is an important healing gift that God sends to us.

Psalm 147:3 tells us that “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

A prayer for healing is often the only thing that we need when we want to be saved from all the hard things that come to our life.

Prayer for strength

A prayer for strength is welcomed when we realize that our strength is not always enough for all the things we want to do. We cannot get through some of the hard situations in our life if we don’t have strength, and sometimes human beings simply don’t have enough of it.

That’s why I advise you to pray to God to give you strength and power to overcome all the obstacles in your life.

Maybe you want to raise a child and you face some problems in this beautiful journey of raising a baby.

Maybe you discover he has a disease, or maybe you face a moment when you don’t have enough money, you lose your job or you just can’t handle the situation, especially if you are both young parents.

Do you know how many young parents give birth to a beautiful child, but don’t have the money and the strength to get through all of the problems?

Do you know how many young couples choose not to have a child because they don’t feel prepared or they feel they don’t have the strength for such a responsibility?  They needn’t feel this way if they call on God for help.

Those young parents who called on God for help and sent Him a prayer for strength, they made it and they now have a beautiful child that can go to a good school and, in addition to this, they found the power and the strength to get a good job or to start their own business.

They didn’t do it all alone. God was there when they prayed for strength. God was there to help them and to give them the power to get through it all.

Remember that God is the best friend, father, and confidant we could have.

Take a look at Psalm 119:28: “My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to Your word.”

Isaiah 40:31 says: “but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

Psalm 46:1: “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”

God should be our refuge no matter if there is good or bad in our life. We should talk to God always.

A prayer for strength should sound this: “Please, God, my savior, I need Your healing; help me to fill myself with strength and power for the hard times that will come.”

Prayer for protection

Everybody needs to be protected from the bad things that happen in life. I know a story about a child who grew up in an orphanage.

She had nobody and she had no money when she had to leave, but her thought, every day, was a prayer for protection: “Please, God, protect me from bad things and give me strength to overcome this period.

Protect me from unhappy events and take care of me because you are the only one who can help me!”

She had no money, no job and her only thought was to ask God for protection. Every day, this was her prayer. Because she was a beautiful, smart girl.

A prayer for protection was all she had. I was surprised and I was delighted to find out months after this that she got a job in a company and they gave her an apartment to live in. She developed her skills and she earned more and more money, then she bought herself an apartment.

She tells everybody now that she was protected by God all that time, and she is still protected by God. She sends God a prayer for protection every day. She has God in her soul and in her mind and she tells that without His love she couldn’t do anything.

Psalm 32:7 says that “You are my hiding place; /you will protect me from trouble/ and surround me with songs of deliverance.”

Exodus 14:14 tells us that “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

Psalm 9:9: “The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.”

A prayer for protection will always work with a prayer for healing and a prayer for strength. We should know that God means all of these: healing, strength, and protection. We should thank God every day that he is watching us and takes care of us.

A prayer for healing, strength, and protection will always be heard by God if we truly trust in His powers. A prayer for healing, strength, and protection will always be the best remedy because it means we talk to God: a remedy for the soul and mind.

God is waiting for us to ask him something. God listens to us every day. It doesn’t matter where you are: in the car, on the bus on your way to school or the office, at home or at your job, maybe on vacation.

God wants us to trust Him. It is more important than where you pray. A prayer for healing, strength, and protection will be welcomed by God if you put all your faith in it. This is what God expects from us: faith.

A prayer for healing, strength, and protection will work if you have faith

Have faith and all good things will come to your life!

Have faith and God will heal and protect you!

Have faith and God will give you strength to keep doing what you want to do!

Ask God for help and He will help you!

Have faith and talk to God in a prayer for healing, strength, and protection! But don’t forget an important thing: thank Him for all He gives to you. Thank Him for who you are, thank Him for what you have, thank Him for always being there when you need Him.

Sometimes, a prayer for healing, strength, and protection needs a prayer for thanks for all the good things God gave you and all the moments God helped you. A prayer for healing, strength, and protection won’t work if you don’t trust with all of your heart that God will help you.

Keep God next to you. Feel His warmth when you call on Him and ask him in a prayer what you need. Let Him be in your soul and your life will be more beautiful. Turn your face to God and see the signs He sends to you. Trust Him and love Him.

Kneel down with your soul and listen to your heart. You will hear the words of God telling you that sometimes you need to send him a prayer for healing, strength, and protection. Every human being needs help and needs to be protected and only God can do it properly.

Be strong and call on God’s help! Pray and have faith in God, love Him and talk to Him, with the Archangels and your Guardian Angel. They are our best friends from the Celestial World that can help us no matter what is happening.

They hear our prayers and they have the power to heal us and to give us strength, while they protect us from all the bad things that could happen to us.

They show us the right path in life and they guide us to thinking positively, to see the beauty in all things around us, to forgive and to love.

Therefore, in your prayer for healing, or maybe for strength, or even for protection, tell God, the Archangels and your Guardian Angel that you are thankful for all you have. Tell them that you are thankful for the good people in your life and for the fact that they are there when you need them the most.

Send your prayer for healing, strength, and protection to God and thank him for being there for you.
